Us Weekly is reporting that the Canadian Punk courtship of Avril Lavigne and Deryk Whibley has ended.  After three years of marriage these two have decided that they don’t want to make sweet music together anymore…too cheesy?  I’m sorry.

Deryk and Avril have been plagued by break up rumors for a while now as they are rarely seen together and when they are they are usually fighting.  As or late, Avril seems to have become quite the partyer and seen out with Brandon Davis, formally Misha Barton’s boyfriend and that of the infamous “fire crotch” tirade.

Oddly, they married when they were both at their popularity peeks and now divorcing when they are at their popularity low…think fame played a part?

Tanya: From the photos I’ve seen of Avril lately she seems ready to slut it up all over town. I feel kinda bad for Deryk, but at the same time I don’t. Did he really think he’d be able to put up with her annoyingness for the rest of his life?
