Maybe it’s because he’s Bruce Wayne, maybe it’s because he’s really serious about his acting, maybe it’s that he’s an incredibly devoted husband and father, or maybe it’s just that smile. Whatever it is, Stacey and I agree on it. Christian Bale is the kinda guy I would never have on my Freebie 5 list because he’s a lifer. He comes across as being so deep and complex you’d want to have more time to figure him out. And I think he’d be hurt if you left after one night, and I just couldn’t do that to him.

Because he keeps his private life private, we don’t have much smut on Christian so his sleaze factor isn’t too high. He does get points for his now infamous rant (and the remix) and for being charged with assault by his mother.

Stacey: Christian is one of those men that I just swoon for.  But not in a dreamy, super hero way; in a “what is going on behind those dark, mysterious eyes” kind of way.  He has been one of my longest standing Hollywood crushes.  All the way back to when he was in Little Women.  His talent, though, is part of what makes him so hot.  American Psycho, 3:10 to Yuma, Rescue Dawn, The Machinist.  The list goes on and on.  And let’s not forget he is Batman, people.  Batman!  So hot.  But, alas, a Freebie Fiver he is not.  And that’s ok.  I would much rather fantasize about long, deep conversations and a meaningful relationship than one good roll in the hay.  I think Tanya and I are both comfortable where he sits.  May not be #1, but he holds a special place in our hearts.
