Jennifer Garner has gotten some slack about the loss of her baby fat (most notably from Julia Roberts) but I’m going to come to her defense here. Carry two kids like this? That is a lot of work. Kids are heavy. I have a niece who is Violet’s age, and probably 5-10 pounds lighter, who wants to be carried all the time and she gets heavy really fast. My arms, abs, legs, back, pretty much everything, feels the burn after carrying her about 3 blocks. That’s when I have to hand her off to someone else.So, if you want a good workout carry some kids. They don’t hold on (unless they’re holding around your neck, like Violet here, then they hold on too tight and cut off your air supply), they squirm and you have to continue to hold them when they kick you, elbow you and put their hands in your ears/eyes/mouth. It’s tough work and will definitely help you lose fat and build muscle.
