I enjoyed the eating and the praying but I didn’t dig the loving part of the book. It left such a bad taste in my mouth that the whole book carries a taint. I think it’s totally great that she was able to drop everything and travel the world in an attempt to find herself, and to be honest it sounds like a really fun adventure, but she came across as really selfish, needy and kinda whiny. I’ll probably end up watching this movie as a “girls night” with the ladies but I’m sure not going to go out of my way for it.
