I honestly didn’t expect Halle Berry to be made out as the ‘bad guy’ in this whole debacle, but she is. From Radar Online:

Since their split, reports have been circulating that it was actually Halle that initiated the break, with claims that Gabriel was not able to contribute financially, and that he was living off of Halle and her celebrity.

RadarOnline.com has learned that while the difference in their incomes did play a part, it didn’t quite play out as Halle’s camp would like us to believe. In fact, it was Gabriel who broke off the relationship, and a lot of it was down to Halle’s nagging about Gabriel’s earning power and in addition, Gabriel’s desire to have another child, something Halle’s biological clock was working against.

“Gabriel is by no means poor,” a source close to the situation tells RadarOnline.com. “He makes a good living as a working, in-demand model. He earns in the region of $700,000 a year, a great income by most people’s standards.

So if I’m reading this right, Radar Online is telling me that  super-hot Gabriel Aubrey just wants to be a stay-at home dad who still brings in $700,000?  Um, I think Gabriel Aubrey might have just struck gold in his PR efforts. Who doesn’t want a hot piece who is a total hands of father to stay at home and watch the kids while still bringing in a crap load of money? You could go get your nails done and go for coffee everyday while he watches the kids. And playing off the fact that he wants more kids makes him seem like a nice family guy. Why would you nag at that?

Well played Gabriel Aubrey, well played.

I’m excited to see how Halle Berry’s camp is going to turn the tables on this one.

Stacey: You know what?  I am kind of buying this whole story.  Why?  Because Halle has a f-ed up past with guys and I imagine she has some serious issues.  Her first husband beat her, her second husband was a “sex addict” and far less famous than she is.  There is just something about this. And the fact that she was so nasty about it right off the bat.  At lease he was trying to play nice.

Suddenly I like Gabriel a lot more than I did previously.  Wierd.
