Why do I get the impression that “Fancy Nights” for Jessica Simpson used to involve hanging out with Ashlee and getting dressed up in old red carpet dresses, doing each others hair and makeup, and having pretend photo shoots?

Too bad for Jessica that Ashlee Simpson is now doing hair and make-up for Pete Wentz.

Poor Jess. Maybe “Fancy Nights” now include defrosting some of Uncle’s award winnin’ chili, putting on mom pants (the old dresses don’t fit no more), ordering in some fried chicken, listening to country music and calling the fiddles “violins”. Nuthin’s fancier than violins.

Probably not. It’s probably actually just dinner out with her dad. (<– Sad truth).
