Amber Tamblyn and David Cross. Two people I would not imagine as a couple. But they are. And they’re pretty serious too as they are now engaged to be married. Weird, hey?

So I just watched the first season of Arrested Development and while it was definitely interesting I have to say that it wasn’t as awesome as people always talk it up to be. Maybe they up the game in later seasons? I enjoyed it, but mostly because I had nothing else to watch while I’m nursing. Should I even bother with the second season?

Stacey: Just for the record, you are getting hard core side eye from me right now.  Firstly, that show is awesome.  SO awesome.  And if you don’t like the show, I hate to say it, but the issue is you, and not the show.  Secondly, this totally is the type of show I thought you would like.  Having a baby has changed you.

Tanya: I didn’t dislike it, I just didn’t find it as awesome as everyone says it is. But before I watched it it had been talked up a LOT. Like, “you HAVE to see this. It’s SOOOOO good!” and “OMG you haven’t watched Arrested Development? You would totally love it. It is AWESOME” and “Arrested Development is the best show to have ever been on television”.

Woot woot! Alexander Skarsgard has split from Kate Bosworth and is looking to get frisky. According to US Weekly:

During a July 21 Film District bash at Comic-Con in San Diego, the actor, 34, flirted with a brunette — and left the party with her.
“He’s single,” confirms a source, “and he is loving the attention!”

Stacey – does ASkars being free from Bosworth make him any hotter to you?

So.  Last week J-Lo and Marc Anthony announce their divorce.  At first, there was nothing smutty happening.  But of course, it’s J-Lo.  And she is the drama queen to end all drama queens.  We had to know that this divorce wasn’t going to go quietly.

This week Jen’s camp appears to be pushing hard to get your vote in the “Who Wins This Divorce” game that is constantly being played in Hollywood.

J-Lo’s camp is alleging that Marc was controlling, possessive, jealous of her career, and that he may or may not have cheated on her.  And to really stick it to Marc, someone “leaked” that Jen’s mom reached out to a special friend to get advice on her crumbling marriage…Ben Affleck.

Allegedly Ben responded, gave some advice, and wished her well.

Am I the only one giving J-Lo the side eye right now.  To me, if they haven’t kept in contact at all over the last 8 years, this seems desperate, pathetic.  And also really really mean.  Both to Marc and to Jen Garner.  Even if it’s true, is J-Lo such a manipulative, mean spirited bitch that she would intentionally leak this?  Apparently so.

I’m not 100% buying this story.  But it is still juicy enough to discuss.

Tanya: Her mom called Ben to get advice on her crumbling marriage? I call BS on that one. I have a feeling that the Affleck/Lopez clans severed all ties after the split. Especially since both parties have moved on and have families now.

JLo can’t do anything without making it extra smutty.

Rumors are abound that Leo DiCaprio is done with Blake Lively.  While I think that them hooking up was almost too obvious that it is almost pathetic, I don’t think these two are done.  Plus, the original rumor came from, like, a super sketchy, non reliable tabloid somewhere in Europe.  So ya.  Probably not true.  Although the reason they are giving is that Leo took Blakey to meet his mommy (he’s a huge mama’s boy) and Blakey couldn’t shut up about herself.  So mama DiCaprio told Leo to dump the bitch and he did.  Allegedly.  Like I said, I’m not buying it.  But what do I know?

On a side note…this picture doesn’t look like Blake does it?

See.  This is why I can’t really think Ryan Phillippe is fully hot and not mostly douche. Because he cheated on his ex wife like a million times, he gets his ex girlfriend pregnant, and he dates 18 year olds when he is actually 36.

According to Us Weekly, Ryan was doing the no pants dance with youngster, Demi Lovito.  You know.  The girl who just got out of rehab for an eating disorder and cutting.  But it was nothing serious.  They were just fooling around.  Oh.  Ok.  That makes it better.

Ugh.

There is something about this that is so….predatory.  Sure she is legal.  Barely.  And clearly a little unstable.  Gross.  Just gross.

On a side note, 54 is on TV right now.  And this was back when Ryan was super young.  And super hot.  Too bad he is such a skeevy pig.  It takes away from his hotness, IMO.  This is the one time when skeevy pigginess does not make me want a guy more.  That must mean he is extra skeevy right?  And sure.  It may not be true.  But just the fact that I think it might be true says something, right?

Megan Fox went on Facebook and posted a bunch of pics of her making faces that “you can’t do with your face when you have Botox”.

Ok, maybe she doesn’t have Botox. But then that means that there is something else going on because you can not deny that this is not the face that Megan Fox used to have. She’s almost unrecognizable from 5 years ago. So if it’s not Botox WTH has she been doing to her face??

Stacey: Ummm ya.  While it might not be botox that doesn’t explain what happened to the rest of her freaky face.  At 25, we shouldn’t be having this discussion about her.

Olivia Wilde is crazy hot and it makes me totally jealous to see that she’s still hot even without makeup. I prefer to see my celebs looking like total crap without makeup (see: Eva Longoria) as it makes me feel a little better about myself. Shallow? Yes. But that’s what happens here.

In other gossip-ier news Olivia Wilde & Ryan Reynolds have been seen hanging out on a few different occasions recently. Olivia Wilde is also going through a divorce and has been “enjoying” her new found freedom (<-see what I did there? I implied she’s sleeping around) so we’ll have to wait and see if this is just them being chummy, if it’s a fling or if maybe they’re a new item. I like the idea of an Olivia Wilde/Ryan Reynolds hook up much more than an Olivia Wilde/Ryan Gosling hook up which is what was happening a few months ago.

Stacey: Olivia has been rumored to have hooked up with pretty much every available guy recently.  I think she was also linked to Bradley Cooper and Justin Timberlake.  I guess being married since you were 18 will cause you to want to play the feild a bit.

According to People Magazine Daniel Craig and Rachel Weisz got married in New York last Wednesday.

This seems a little odd to me because Daniel dated his last GF for years without getting married and Rachel is recently divorced. Makes me think they might have a bun in the oven (pure speculation there).

Stacey: I am not sure I am into this.  Especially considering it is rumored they both left long time partners to be together.  I am with you on the baby theory, Tanya.  That plus he has, like, 5 movies coming out this year.  Breaking up relationships + babies out of wedlock = bad publicity.  However, babies + marriage = good publicity.  I think we have our answer…
