Jim Carrey has always been a little unstable and his new love letter/video tribute to Emma Stone is not cute. It’s just creepy. Here’s what he says, and you can check out the video below:

I just wanted to let you know that I think you’re all the way beautiful. Not just pretty, but, you know, smart and kindhearted. And if I were a lot younger, I would marry you, and we would have chubby little freckled faced kids. We’d laugh all day long and go camping and play Yahtzee and tell ghost stories by the fire. And the sex? Everyday for the rest of your life, you would thank God that I was the appropriate age for you. But I’m not. I’m 49. I have lines on my face, sometimes a little grey in my beard, and it takes me a little longer to pee than it used to. Those are the only discernible signs of aging that I can find so far.
Anyway, I just wanted to let you know how I felt. You’re pretty special, and I wish you continued success and artistic fulfillment, but most of all, I wish you love and contentment. That’s all.

Stacey: What is most creepy is that I am pretty sure Emma is younger than Jim Carrey’s own daughter.  Icky.

OMG.  The final Harry Potter trailer.  Amazing.  Its almost here!

Tanya:!! I can’t wait!! Although, it does feel like they gave away the entire movie with that trailer.

Have you read One Day?  This book is seriously one of my favorite books ever.  EVER!  Yes, it is a little chick-litey but if you are a chick you totally need to read it.  Because it is so good.  When you finish reading it, you will love the characters, you will cry, you will think about them after you are done…it is that good.

And I totally can’t wait for the movie to come out.  They cast the perfect actors in these roles.  Anne Hathaway plays Emma and Jim Sturgess playes Dexter.  I can’t wait!

As much as the Royal Wedding gives me the warm fuzzies, let’s add a little humour to the day. New trailer: 30 Minutes or Less.

This actually looks pretty funny. Jesse Eisenberg is pretty solid and Aziz Ansari is really growing on me. Anyone else watch Parks & Recreation? Aziz probably has one of the best characters on the show. Him and the dude that was the Mayor at 18 (you can tell how often I watch the show and how lazy I am that I’m not even looking it up).

I get goosbumps when I see these previews.

Every time I watch a preview for this movie  I wish I could use my Harry Potter wand to do a memory charm on myself so that I could erase my memory of having read the books so that I could read them all over again.  I read all 6 books right in a row.  And I remember picking up the last book and thinking “Yes.  This is what it has all been about”.  And when I finished the book, closing it and feeling so satisfied, and thinking back in fondness of the characters and their experiences and the tears I cried over their deaths and the happiness I felt knowing what happened to each of them….I would give anything to do that again.  But seeing the previews reminds me of the feelings.  I can’t wait!

Ok, peeps.  I was hoping that I could post the new Beastie Boys video for their new single “Make Some Noise” but MTV isn’t allowing anyone to copy the embedding code so to see the new kick ass video go here, to MTV Canada. The video is amazing with cameos  from basically anyone who is anyone.

My favorite thing about the video though is how great the actors nail the mannerisms of the Beastie Boys.  Seth Rogan as Mike D, Danny Mcbride as MCA, and especially Elijah Wood as Ad-Rock.  Its actually quite impressive.

So since I can’t post the new vid, here is the video for Fight for Your Right, for which the new vid is an homage.  Can you believe it has been 25 years since this video came out?  Amazingness.

PS.  I know Ad-Rock is like old and everything now but I still totally love him.  He is on my Lifetime Freebie Five list.

Part 2 is going to be soooo good. I’m especially excited to see the action that goes down at Gringots.

Stacey: OMG so excited!  When we go, Tan, I am going to totally dork it up.  I am going to bring my wand that I got from The Wizarding World of Harry Potter.  And wear my awesome Griffendor scarf.  And bring my butter beer mug.  And eat my chocolate frog that I got from Honeydukes.

Oh, PS.  Someone told me about this new wand that is coming out that doubles as a channel changer.  Check it out.  It is totally awesome.

Tanya: Holy crap, that is awesome. I would totally buy a wand to change my channels with. I would also make up spells for it, but that’s because I’m a huge dork sometimes.

Stacey, your scarf, wand, mug, etc, sounds a little embarrassing, but to be honest I’m actually quite jealous.

My boyfriend, Kellan Lutz, is in a new movie called Love Wedding Marriage.  It looks pretty cute.  And he looks extra yummy.  I think I will go see it.  Yes, it is total a total Chick Flick, but do I need any more of a reason to go than my boyfriend it in it and he looks extra yummy?  I didn’t think so.

Tanya: I think this movie looks kinda stupid, but for the amount of implied scenes with Kellan Lutz shirtless I’m totally in. Does that make me shallow? ISS girls night?
