I am probably just weeks away from becoming a parent (maybe even days, you never really know when they’re going to come) and honestly, the thought of becoming a parent is a little frightening. Not only do you have to shift your life and priorities, but you also have to try and instill some manners, morals, and common sense into a little empty being who is going to challenge you every step of the way.

And then I saw Adam Sandler out with his daughters and it looks like Sadie (who is 4?) is wearing leather pants. Not only is this kind of hilarious because it reminds me of Big Daddy, but it’s also one of those “pick your fights” moments. Does it really matter if your kid wears leather pants? Probably not. But are people going to give you a hard time about it? Yes.

It also made me think – if I just think of all of the crazy things I’m about to go through as some sort of Adam Sandler movie, even the craziest stuff won’t seem that bad.

Stacey: I am a terrible person and you don’t want to know what I was thinking here…I warn you, if you are sensitive and are going to get your panties in a twist over what I am about to type, please click away…looking at the back of her black leather pants is better….I can’t type the rest.  Seriously, my hubby just told me what I was about to type was too mean.  And for him to say that, it must have been mean.

Adam Sandler takes care of his friends. Not only does he cast them in every single movie he makes, but he also makes sure they’re compensated well for it.

Chris Rock told a radio interview recently:

“I went outside the other day and I had a new Maserati in the driveway,”

“Now I think that I’m Adam Sandler’s bitch,”

WOW. Chris Rock wasn’t the only person to get a new Maserati – Kevin James, Rob Schneider, and David Spade also got their own $200,000 car.

Grown Ups is out on DVD today.

Stacey: Well, what would you do if you actually had that kind of money?  I would do the same thing, I think.  I wouldn’t want to be the only one to enjoy that money.  I would do cool stuff for my friends all the time.  Hold private concerts, go on trips, buy them stuff.  But I would buy it for those who needed it…not my other rich friends.

I read this really funny story about Hugh Grant’s old assistant coming up to him and smearing chocolate cake all over his white shirt, for which Hugh Grant punched him, then someone threw a glass of wine that hit the owner of the venue and the result was a bitch fight that can only belong in a bad chick flick, but when I was looking for a picture of Hugh Grant I came across these wonderfully photoshopped photos of celebrities upside down. Much more fun

Adam Sandler & his daughter Sadie hand in hand while out for a walk in LA. It kinda looks like they’re deep in converation.

Stacey: Maybe she is telling him that his last movie wasn’t nearly funny enough and that he should stick to comedies instead of “dramas”.  You tell him Sadie!

On a side note, I don’t like the name Sadie for kids.  Its a fairly common name that I always hear being yelled at the dog park when I am walking my dogs.  Also, when we adopted out female, her original name was Sadie.

Here’s Adam Sandler & his new daughter Sunny (5 months) on the set of his new movie Grown Ups.

Adam looks how I feel today. I started reading Pride and Prejudice and Zombies before bed last night and woke up several times through the night in the midst of zombie fighting dreams. I kicked some serious zombie ass last night.

Stacey: I totally feel like he looks today as well.  It was my friend’s stagette this weekend.  I had way too much fun and am now paying the price.

I dream about books I read as well.  I still dream about vampires at least once a week.
