At some point, I think I may have liked Adrien Brody.  At some point, many many moons ago.  But now he insists…insists….on dressing like this.  With that facial hair.  And that knitted hat.  And just the…everything.

When did he become such a douche?

Tanya: I just went through way too many pictures of Adrien Brody and I’d have to say this started roughly around the time he started dating Elsa Pataky (don’t know for sure, but I’d say 2006ish?). Elsa Pataky is now married to Chris Hemsworth who, despite having a bother who dated Miley Cyrus, is probably a step up from Adrien Brody. Let’s hope it’s not Elsa that causes the douche dressing because Chris doesn’t have too much going for him so far.

Remember the time Adrien Brody skinned a leather couch to wear to an event? This time he chose the satin bed sheets.

Adrien Brody needs to learn to take it easy on the fabrics. Maybe just the jacket, shirt or pants, with some other fabrics would make this work. But not all together.

Stacey: Ugh.  When did Adrien Brody start being so skeevy?

Some ladies get their panties in a bunch at the sight of Adrien Brody. Here he is at the car wash over the weekend and… I don’t see it. Maybe it’s a bad day?

Stacey: There are moments, moments, where I can kind of, maybe see it.  However, 98% of the time, I don’t see it.  Like this one, with that douchey facial hair, I couldn’t be attracted to him even if I tried.

Same one. Adrien Brody worked out a little for his new movie Predators and he’s looking pretty good.

Stacey: No amount of working out can ever make up for this.

But this outfit.  This horrible brown leather douche suit is too much.

My husband had this old arm chair that was his Grandfather.  It was one of those old school ones that vibrated and heated up.  When he was little he would sit in it with him after dinner and his grandfather would peel an apple and cut it up and share it with him every night.  When his grandfather passed away, he kept the chair.  Nice story right?

I hated this thing.  By the time we lived together it was so worn and so old and so dangerous.  I was convinced that if you left this thing heating for too long it would burst into flames and burn down our house.  When we bought our first house I made him throw it out.  Sounds mean, I know, but this thing looked like Adrien Brody’s suit.  Picture it. Like this suit but on a chair.

I think that’s what makes this outfit so bad.  It should be a chair.

Tanya: When I grow up and build an estate home I want to have a library in it with some nice leather cigar chairs kinda like this outfit. Something you can sit in after dinner and talk about stocks and investments, global warming and classic literature. I also want to wear a silk robe and smoke a pipe while doing these things.

Wait a minute… are those gold shoes? … *barf!*

Stacey: Whats funny about this post is one of my friends, who is straight and male and also likes to wear what we like to call “sweeping v-necks” told us this weekend that he wanted to get one of the shirts like Adrien is wearing.  Everyone made fun of him for quit a while for it.  But it may look good on my friend…it does not look good on Adrien.  Especially with the handkerchief…and the hat.  We just need to stick a piece of straw in his mouth to complete the “Metro Hillbilly” look.
