Stacey is headed down to Miami for a much deserved vacation so I figured I’d take this opportunity to post some Alexander Skarsgard. Stacey, Krissy, say what you will but Alexander Skarsgard is hot.

Here he is with some of the True Blood cast talking about season 4 which I can not wait for. I think that was probably my favourite book in the Dead Until Dark series.

LOVE this dress!! Seriously. I want it for the next wedding I have to go to but I have a feeling it’ll be a little out of my budget. I wouldn’t want to be a celebrity for the constant of the media in my life, but I would love it for getting to get all dressed up for events all the time.

Stacey: I normally do not dig on anything that Anna wears but I love this dress.  And the color.

I normally don’t care about Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer as a couple, mostly because I don’t watch True Blood but I totally totally love this picture of them.  It melted my crusty, crabby, cold heart this wintery morning.

Plus, I totally love her dress.

Tanya: Even though Sookie is super annoying, Anna Paquin is still hot despite that. Stephen Moyer, not so much. Did you see the Office Halloween episode where Andy dressed up as Bill?

They look happy (well Anna does at least) but I just don’t dig these too and I think it’s because of the show. I base my view of Stephen Moyer on what I know about Bill – which is that he is a giant douche. The only things I know about Stephen Moyer is that he’s left two baby mamas to be with a new gal. Not a winning character trait. ‘

Stacey: What?  I didn’t know that.  I take back everything I said.  These two suck (pun not intended).

Anna Paquin & Stephen Moyer (aka Suhkeh & Bheeeeeel from True Blood) got married yesterday. This is the first marriage for both Anna Paquin & Stephen Moyer, and the couple has 2 kids from Stephen Moyer’s previous relationships.

I have never watched a single episode of True Blood, although I am constantly told that I should, but I gather from what I read that the show has a lot of soft core porn and nudity.  Perhaps this is why people watch it?

Apparently, when doing these nude scenes, its customary for men to wear a sock on their business, for modesty and comfort of others I guess, but Alex Skarsgard is having no part in that:

“I don’t want a sock around it, that feels ridiculous. If we’re naked in the scene, then I’m naked. I’ve always been that way.”

So does that mean, in this picture he is just rubbing his wang up against Anna Paquin?  Weird.

Tanya: Hahahah, we totally did the same post at the exact same time. In honour of our awesomeness I think we should leave them both up.

How awesome has True Blood been this season? SO GOOD! Totally the best so far.

Here a naked Alexander Skarsgard, Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer on the cover of the Rolling Stone to promote the series. This cover is pretty awesome, but still a little too much for me. It honestly makes me a little queasy.

Another day, another chick celebrity feeling the need to tell everyone they are bisexual.  First it was Anna Paquin, then it was Christina Aguilera, now Vanessa Cartlon.

Can I first say “who? and then say “yawn!”.

I don’t know if you remember her but she wrote that one hit wonder “A Thousand Miles”.  She hasn’t done much in the last few years so it kind of makes me wonder if she is doing it to gain publicity.  I am kind of thinking that’s the only reason any of these girls are saying it.

But quite frankly, I don’t really care about their sexual preferences.  Thats not why I do or do not like them as artists.  I understand that maybe they are saying to so that it isn’t taboo anymore but by constantly announcing it, and using it for publicity, makes it seem as though they are saying it to be different.  And isn’t the point to make it not different?  How will anyone have equal rights if it is viewed as “different” when they are using it as a badge of honor or to stand out in the crowd or to shock people?

I am a total believer in people loving one another based on who they are as individuals and not based on sexuality, race, religion, social status, economic status, or any other differentiators.  But for those that actually do struggle with discrimination for any of these reasons, for celebrities to use it as a publicity stunt is totally icky.

Maybe I am reading into this the wrong way though.  Because I truly hope that someone wouldn’t use it for publicity.

Tanya: I’m all for non-discrimination, but I’m also for non-exploitation and it does kinda seem like these ladies are exploiting these issues to drum up publicity. Raising awareness of an issue and raising awareness of your new album are different things ladies.

Of course, we must not forget that the only time people are interviewed and have a chance to say these things is when they have a new season, movie or album coming out so we should take that into consideration too. If Anna Paquin or Christina Aguilera wanted to come out as bisexual last year when there were no Vogue covers or television interviews to say it in, no one would really care (like we don’t really care about Vanessa Carlton coming out). Especially since Paquin and Aguilera are both in heterosexual relationships anyway. Now maybe if they had lady lovers we’d be more interested…

Christina Aguilera is also talking about being depressed this time around and it seems like she’s doing it for publicity too. I could be totally wrong, but that’s just the vibe I get.

“Gosh Tanya, why all the True Blood posts” is what you might be asking yourself, and if you are the answer is this: The Case for the Hotness of Alexander Skarsgard.

Stacey: I’m sorry, but all these posts have not swayed me to your camp.  To me, Alex Skarsgard = Marcus Naslund. And Vancouver Canucks = Un-hot.

I came across some photos on JustJared of Stephen Moyer and Anna Paquin out and about over the weekend and I was going to post them with a story about how I’m reading the Dead Until Dark series and how much better it is with Bill out of the country for the 4th book, but when I tried to save the Anna & Stephen picture I was instead taken to this picture of Ryan Kwanten. So, instead of Bheeeeeel and Sookie I give you Ryan Kwanten, aka Jason Stackhouse.

Stacey: You know, I never saw the appeal in Stephan Moyer before.  But yesterday I was at the book store and looking at the Dead Until Dark series then I had a dream last night about vampires and he was in it and now suddenly, when looking at those same pictures, I find him totally hot.

This guy though?  He kind of reminds me of a teddy bear.  Its something about his eyes.
