Gary Oldman is a secret old-man crush of mine so I’d like to wish him a happy birthday

Personally, I think Gary Oldman is one of the best actors out there and it doesn’t help that he plays some of my favorite characters (Comish Gordan & Sirius Black!). I also really admire his acting. Big time. He’s one of the few actors that you believe the character instead of seeing the actor playing the character. In Sid & Nancy it’s not Gary Oldman playing Sid, it IS Sid. In Batman you see Christian Bale playing Bruce Wayne, but Gary Oldman IS Commissioner Gordan. I could go on but I think you get my point.

So from ISS to Gary Oldman, happy birthday and keep up the awesome <3

This semester is my last semester of University and I’m going out on a good note with Music History & Literature 309.04, The History of Funk. That’s right. Funk. I am getting academic credit to sit around, watch movies with Rick James & George Clinton, and play Name That Tune. How will this course help me in the future? Well, I won’t be able to get a job with it, but I might be able to pay off my bar tab on Name that Tune night. If they only play 70s funk. Ok, it won’t help me ever

Today is Sly Stone’s 67 birthday so celebrate by listening to “Everyday People”, but don’t watch the video too closely because the dubbing is terrible.

Stacey, I am truly thankful to have you as a friend. Your passion, conviction and ability to emotionally relate with everything never ceases to amaze me. I saw this photo over at Dlisted and couldn’t believe my eyes. Jonathan Rhys-Meyers with long hair and hotness.

The long hair tones down the drug-eyes. He should consider going back to this. The pubes hanging out over the belt however is something that should not be revisited.

Today is Derek Jeter’s 35th birthday. Happy Birthday!

I’d have to say Derek Jeter is my #2 All-American Hero. You know the type: the good looking caption of the team that would stop to get a kitten out of a tree. Tom Brady is my #1. Tom Brady probably wouldn’t get a kitten out of a tree, but his good looks would convince the ladies that kittens aren’t worth saving anyway.

Stacey: I am gonna be honest here…I don’t get the Derek Jeter attraction.  I never have.  Talented, yes?  Quiveration worthy?  Not for me.  Tom Brady, on the other hand….

I never knew you had such a thing for athletes, Tanya.

Today is Zachary Quinto’s birthday and as I birthday gift to him I’ve closed the poll asking if him or Chris Pine is hotter, before posting this photo, while he was still ahead. Even Chris Pine in a sweatshirt jacket is better than this.

This photo is un-hot. His “pornstache” or “pervstace” or “douchestach” (call it what you will) is straight up stank. I want dig Mr. Quinto, but he makes it so hard sometimes.

Stacey: Eeeeeew.  This is not a good look.  He reminds me of some weird french waiter man that would smell like cigarettes and cheap after shave.

Why are you doing this to us Zach?  We want to want you.  But this pervstace needs to go.  And pronto.  If you get rid of it quick enough we can pretend this never happaned.  And we can go back to thinking you are hot.

This poster is ridiculous. Can you imaging having to do this? To be “in character” and make a serious, intense face while your cast-mates are killing themselves laughing at you on set? To be whored out in lame merchandise so some other company can make a killing? Whenever I see this poster I laugh. It looks so, soawkward. Is it the pained existence of Edward or is it Pattinson trying to keep a straight face?

Such is the life of Robert Pattinson. To be forever “Edward” and steal the hearts of tweens, teens, and soccer moms so Summit Entertainment can make a buck.
