So earlier in the week Bradley Cooper was named People Magazine’s Sexiest Man Alive.  Tanya and I both decided we were a big, fat “meh” on this.  Not that we don’t think Coops is hot…but the hottest?  Meh.

Apparently fans of other celebs felt the same way.  But the super fans of Ryan Gosling took crazy town to a whole new level by picketing People over their decision.  Yes, you read that correctly…picketed.  I guess they felt his not winning this meaningless title was one of the world’s greatest injustices.

Super-fan (read: CRAZY fan) Matt Stopera had this to say: “We are devastated,…. “[Gosling's] left arm alone makes him the Sexiest Man Alive. Hello, look at his abs!”

Please.  Read that sentence again.  Digest it.

I shake my head.  Is this what our world has come to?  Picketing a magazine over their sexiest man choices?  Just bring it down a notch, peeps.  You are embarrassing yourselves. And Ryan.

Tanya: I never used to be a Ryan Gosling fan but he is HOT. I’d have him as the sexiest. Especially as he’s had like 5 movies come out this year (don’t quote that, it’s just a guess). Although… I head that Ides of March was terrible and I can personally attest that Drive was a big pile of suck.

Apparently, according to TMZ, Jennifer Lopez was spotted out on a date with Bradley Cooper.

See!  What did I say?  Now that she is popular again, she needed an upgrade.  Well, that certainly is an improvement from Skeletor.

We’ll see if this goes anywhere.

Is it just me or is Bradley Cooper’s wax figure, like, really really creepy looking?  Its just not quite…right, you know?  Like if he had lots of botox and became a serial killer.

Tanya: Bradley Cooper has a certain “sparkle” about him that just can’t be recreated.

Lainey had an interesting little tidbit on her site today.  I haven’t yet seen it anywhere else but apparently the source is People Magazine so it must be some what legit…or at least planted and approved by one of their publicists.

Apparently, newly single Bradley Cooper and perpetually single Jennifer Aniston have “reconnected” after going on a couple dates prior to him dating Squinty McSkinny, Renee Zellwegar.

You know what?  I actually totally love this.  First of all, I think these two would look amazing together.  Second of all, they both appear to be, ummm, willing to benefit from the mutual publicity that this would garner.

Until I see anything more about it, I am going to assume it is just another random rumor.  But secretly, I hope it is true.

Tanya: I love this hook up. They seem like they’d be a good pair – as much as any two people you don’t know can seem like a good pair. Maybe because they have similar hotness levels? I’m going to believe this is true.

After dating for about 2 years Bradley Cooper & Renee Zellweger have called it quits. These two were generally pretty drama-less so I don’t know if there’s a good story behind the break up but I kinda hope so. Like maybe Coops wanted kids but it turns out that Squinty hates children and isn’t allowed within 50 feet of them because one time she punched a kid in the face for giving her the side eye. Or it turns out that Squints is really a robot. Or Squints is also dating Sean Penn. And Coops is dating Sean Penn. Or maybe Coops slept with Renee’s mom. Or sister.

Or maybe one of them was just waiting for Joe Jonas to be back on the market? We’ll never know…

Stacey: Do you know who Coops should hook up with now?  Me.  No, just kidding.  He should hook up with Jessica Biel.  They would be hot together.

Are they still casting The Great Gatsby? Shouldn’t they have moved on from that and be into the next stage of production yet? It seems like we were talking about the casting of Daisy Buchanon forever ago (ok, maybe it was only November).

I guess not because word on the street today is that Bradley Cooper is in talks to play Tom Buchanon, Daisy Buchanon’s husband, in the new film version of the book. You know what? I’m totally on board with this casting decision. B-Coop seems to come across with a certain level of arrogance that is necessary to play Tom and I think he’d do a great job. Go B-Coop!

I don’t know who is paying off People Magazine but they’re “sneak peak” of People’s 2010 Most Beautiful People list is out and Channing Tatum is #2? THIS GUY?! Pift. Whatever.

Last year we agreed that the Most Beautiful People of 2009 was pretty good, but this year I don’t feel the same way. Maybe it’s because my coffee tasted like crap this morning, but I just don’t agree with the list. Jakey G and Zoe Saldana, yes. Perv stache Tatum & Julia Roberts no. Julia is pretty on the outside, but I think her bitchiness should bump her from the top 10. And fake tan line Cooper? I’m undecided. When he brings it he really brings it, but when he doesn’t he really doesn’t.

Stacey: What?  I am straight up objecting to this list.  Tanya, maybe we should do our own beautiful people list.  We talked about it last year…maybe this is our year?

Tanya: Yes we should. Start keeping notes of beautiful people and when the magazine with the full list comes out we’ll school it.

Its official.  Bradley Cooper cannot dress himself.  I mean really.  What is this outfit?

Bradley ranked #7 on our Hottest Guys list.  And our big complaint was the way he dresses.  If there was every any doubt before, people, I would like to offer up exhibits A and B as proof.  Maybe this is why he is dating Renee…anyone hotter wouldn’t date someone who dresses like this…

Tanya: The worst part about the picture below is that his outfit would look pretty slick if he tucked in the other half of his shirt. There is no fix for the outfit above.

All the celebs were out to promote Valentine’s Daylast night and most of them are looking super hot. Most of them except Bradley Cooper who must have thought his stubble was thick enough that no one would notice if he stopped the bronzer just into his facial hair line. The only other explanation I have for this is that maybe it’s a tan line from a bandanna he was wearing over his mouth while he was out robbing trains old school style. Also on the topic of Bradley Cooper, he totally reminds me of Robin Williams in the photo below.

Stacey: What is UP with Jessica Biel’s dress?  Is she aware it is a movie premier and not a casting call for The Little Mermaid?  Or some weird bird enthusiast party.  Its just too much.  Ick.  I love Jennifer Garner’s dress though. Looks great on her!  Not so hot on Anne Hathaway’s though.  It’s the color.  Just for the record, peeps, my love affair with Taylor Lautner is officially.  No thanks to Lainey.  She ruined him forever for me.  Really.
