Correction: the secondary ladies of Twilight, were on hand and Vanity Fair to do a photo shoot to promote Eclipse.

The interviewer for this piece seems kinda like “urgh, Twilight shoot. Why prep for that?” because she doesn’t know who Julia Jones is or plays, she gets Dakota Fanning’s birthday way wrong, and the only person she shows interest in is Bryce Dallas Howard because “Bryce is the daughter of Ron Howard”. Isn’t it an unspoken rule (or maybe loudly spoken, I don’t know) that both interviewers and celebs have to pretend to be interested in the interviews?

I think Julia Jones is the perfect casting for Lea Clearwater. I am excited to see her in the role. And in some other roles too, but it look like her only other movie right now is Jonah Hex with Megan Fox.

Stacey: Lets be honest here.  Do any of us care about the secondary ladies of Twilight?  I didn’t think so.

Yesterday we reported that Rachelle Lefevre’s character Victoria had been recast in the third Twlight movie Eclipse to be played by Bryce Dallas Howard because of Rachelle’s filming schedule for her upcomming move Barney’s Version (which she should take over Eclipse if it’s a one or the other situation). Well, apparantly this was news to Rachelle as well as she thought she was within her contractual limitations to do both. Summit is saying that she didn’t tell them about Barney’s Version until a month after she got the part which shows her “lack of cooperative spirit which affected the entire production”. Rachelle’s shooting schedule for Barney’s Version is only 10 days long.

Correct me if I’m wrong here, but doesn’t Victoria just show up at the end for a fight scene? Isn’t she pretty much absent for the rest of the book? Summit can’t let her go for 10 days?

Lame Summit. Very lame.

If you think Rachelle Lefevre should still be Victoria in Eclipse there is a petition going on here. It worked for Taylor Lautner when Summit wanted to recast him for New Moon.

Stacey: I am not sure who’s side I am on here.  Either way though it brings more publicity to the movie…like it needed that.

Word on the street is that Bryce Dallas Howard will be taking over the roll of Victoria from Rachelle Lefevre in the next Twilight movie, Eclipse, due to scheduling conflicts on Rachelle’s end.  Apparently, she will be staring in a new film with Dustin Hoffman which is filming at the same time as Eclipse.  Nice trade up for Rachelle, that’s for sure.  As for Bryce, I am a huge fan of hers, but how will she do in replacing Rachelle as Victoria?  Undecided. I thought Rachelle was the perfect Victoria.  Bryce has big shoes to fill.

Tanya: Rachelle Lefevre has been a great Victoria. Sad to see her leave the franchise, but if she has a chance to work with Dustin Hoffman in a credible movie she should take it hands down. The movie in question is called “Barney’s Version” – I’ve read the book and really enjoyed it. Should be a good flick.

Bryce Dallas Howard has the look of a evil vampire so I hope she can act like one too. Honestly, I’m still a little disappointed in her Terminator Salvation role. She had no spunk. She will need spunk to be Victoria.
