So, when did Snow White wear armour?

The only part of this that I’m looking forward to is that a) Charlize Theron is super hot, and b) it doesn’t have Julia Roberts in it.

Stacey: While Charlize is totally hot I think this poster looks silly.  And I think that this movie seems silly.  But what do I know?  Maybe it is totally going to rock.  And like you said, Tan…no Julia Roberts.  Which totally = awesome.

Here’s Chris Hemsworth, the new Thor. I’ve been seeing him everywhere lately but never posted on him. Today however, I’d like to officially recognise his hotness.

Chris Hemsworth, thanks for bringing the hot.

Stacey: What?!?!  I have been not posting about him because I find him completely and totally boring and un-hot.  Tanya, sometimes it amazes me how far apart we can be on things.

We didn’t really report on it here but apparently Edward Norton was recently booted from the new Avenger’s film where he was set to reprise his role as the Hulk.  Ed is notoriously difficult to work with as he expects a lot of creative control and is really hands on.  Ironically, his temper got him fired from playing a character who is famous for his temper. Anyways, there was some he said/she said after the studio released a scathing letter about him.  Which left everyone wondering who would fill his shoes for the much anticipated role.

With Comic-Con running this past weekend, the the actor was revealed.  Apparently, the new Hulk will be played by Mark Ruffalo.  Hmmm.  I am neither excited or disappointed by that.  I guess I really liked Norton as the Hulk and was disappointed by his dismissal.  And I like Mark Ruffalo a lot, but as The Hulk?  Not sold on it.

Here are some of the cast promoting the movie at Comic-Con this past weekend.  Tan, when are we going to Comic-Con?

Tanya: Really? Mark Ruffalo? I guess I’ll have to see the movie to decide on this one. And Comic-Con in Calgary isn’t nearly as cool as the one in wherever this is, but we can go next year if you want. ISS day trip?

Were you into Thor as a kid? Me neither. But it’s Marvel, and it’s going to be a movie with Chris Hemsworth, so it might turn out OK. We’ll see…

Word is that Daniel Craig was the first choice but he turned it down.

Stacey: I wasn’t big into Thor either.  I will probably wait to see what the traile ris like before I commit to seeing it.

Do you remember when Vincent Donofrio played Thor in Adventures in Babysitting?

Tanya: Um, yes I do. It was fantastic. And The Adventures in Babysitting has to be one of the best movies out of the 80′s. So good.
