Summit Entertainment has been doing a good job keeping New Moon and Eclipse in the news lately. First the casting for Leah Clearwater and now some shots of the Volturi. Dakota Fanning looks awesome. I can’t wait to see her in action!

Side note: I’ve had several people embarrassingly admit that they also want to go see New Moon when it comes out and have asked if they could come with us – the more the merrier! And yes, you are more than welcome to pull out your wigs, dark glasses, and hats so you don’t get recognised as going to see a Twilight movie on the opening week. We’ll probably do a later show on a school night to avoid as much of the screaming teens as we can, and I think some pre-show cocktails will be in order.

Stacey: We’ll have to do a New Moon group viewing.  Get all those out there with the guilty (or not so guilty) pleasure and see the movie together.  You know, for support.  If we are in a group, we can’t be judged…as much.

Stacey: Lol.  In fact, I know a couple guys who have these boots.  In red. 

They look so awesome!  I still can’t get over how grown up Dakota looks.  She is so gorgeous.

Dakota Fanning is now in Vancouver to shoot some scenes for New Moon. One of my fave teen stars. Smiling it up, waving for the camera. Her parents are probably forced to walk 10 feet behind her. One of them has to be there because she’s under 18. Taylor Lautner’s dad is on set with him.

Do you think there’s a family area on set where people’s parents and kids hang out? Taylor’s dad could watch Cam Gigandet’s new daughter? Or do you think the parents just hang out in their trailers all day and the actors bring nannies for their kids? Second option is way more likely, but the first one is funner to think about.

Stacey: I like to think that their parents are kept in a cage far, far away from the set so they can’t be overbearing star parents, barking demands at their kids and everyone around them…but that’s just me

I can’t believe how much Dakota has grown up.  She really went through a weird awkward faze (don’t we all) but she came out of it beautifully.  I think she is going to be a great Jane.
