Wow. This seems a little fast, no?

According to People Magazine Daniel Craig and Rachel Weisz got married in New York last Wednesday.

This seems a little odd to me because Daniel dated his last GF for years without getting married and Rachel is recently divorced. Makes me think they might have a bun in the oven (pure speculation there).

Stacey: I am not sure I am into this.  Especially considering it is rumored they both left long time partners to be together.  I am with you on the baby theory, Tanya.  That plus he has, like, 5 movies coming out this year.  Breaking up relationships + babies out of wedlock = bad publicity.  However, babies + marriage = good publicity.  I think we have our answer…

A while back  there was a rumour floating around that Rachel Weisz was filing for divorce from her husband because she had started up a romance with Daniel Craig while they were filming their upcoming movie Dream House. I chose not to post about it because I was hoping it wasn’t true, and there didn’t seem to be any credible source to back it up.

Well, I’m sad to say today that it looks like the rumour was true. Daniel Craig and Rachel Weisz were spotted out and about in Dorset, England holding hands, sharing a romantic pint of beer at a pub and were holed up in “a cottage hideaway”.

To me this makes Daniel Craig less hot. Not so much that he broke up a marriage and a family (though that really isn’t hot), but more so that him and Satsuki Mitchell are not together. There is something about Satsuki that made me like Daniel Craig more. Rachel Weisz doesn’t have that. She’s the opposite.

Stacey: Maybe it seems like she is the opposite because in order to be together they broke up two families?  Gross.  Remember how Daniel Craig’s Sleaze Score used to be a 2?  Well, now I am pretty sure it would be a big, fat 10.  I know we don’t know the circumstances of either break up but the time lines make it pretty obvious; these two had an affair.

Can we judge them now?  Please?

Here’s a round-up of the best and the average outfits at the 2010 MET Gala. Worst dress list to follow!

Best: Blake Lively, Emma Watson and Satsuki Mitchell. Blake’s dress is a great colour and the cut suits her – I just hope this is a standing event or someone is going to get a show. Emma’s dress is crisp and fresh with the right combination of Greco-Roman-call-girl (that is a compliment, I guess). And Satsuki Mitchell keeps it classy when all these other ladies are just over the top. Plus her dress brings out Daniel Craig’s eyes. Awwww!

Zoe Saldana & Gwen Stefani were THIS close to getting on my best list but their outfits are just a little off. Zoe’s looks good when she does the ‘over the shoulder’ look but head on it’s a little too much and Gwen’s kinda looks like either cotton batting or spiderwebs. It’s not doing it for me.

JLo, please, honey, tone it down a little.

Stacey: This year was a little disappointing for me.  I didn’t love love love anyone’s dress.  Ok, maybe Emma Watson.  Actually, oddly, I really liked Katy Perry.  It was fun and adventurous and had tons of personality…just like her!  Other than that, it was a big, fat “meh” from me.  Boring!

The people who were going to produce the next Bond flick have pulled the plug on it. They released a press statement today:

“Due to the continuing uncertainty surrounding the future of MGM and the failure to close a sale of the studio, we have suspended development on Bond 23 indefinitely,” they said said in a joint statement. “We do not know when development will resume and do not have a date for the release of Bond 23.”

I’m a Bond fan (let me clarify, I like the 3 Bond movies I’ve seen) so I’m a little bummed that they’re not going ahead with this. But more surprising to me was that MGM is for sale and no one is buying. Isn’t the movie business making money? Haven’t we seen record breaking sales this year? Or have all those been non-MGM movies?

Ok, I just did a quick search of their site and I’m under the impression that their only movie in theatres right now is Hot Tub Time Machine, which pretty much answers my question right there.

Good luck with that sale MGM.

Stacey: Hmmm.  Who knew?  Thats really weird.  However, I think while movies are making a lot of money, they also cost a lot to make, including overpaying the stars that are in it. 

With that being said, I don’t really care for the Bond movie.  I watched Casino Royale and mildly enjoyed it (read: enjoyed Daniel Craig in a bathing suit) but other than that, I am not big into them.  Especially the ones with Pierce Brosnan and Sean Connery.  But that’s just me and I know that I am in the minority on that one.  It will be interesting to see if Bond finds another home.

Interesting side note.  Did you know that Henry Cavill was up for the role in Casino Royale as they were thinking of taking the character younger, but ultimately went with Daniel Craig instead?  What might have been, eh?

Daniel Craig. Even with the moustache, he brings the hot. Remember that scene in James Bond when he comes out of the water all wet and glistening in his tiny (and yet manly) shorts? So hot. He’s got the English accent, he’s a wonderful dresser (most of the time, let’s not forget ‘70s Gay Biker Chic), and he’s got a beautiful non-famous wife who he appears to adore. Swoon!

What more can I say? Not much. Just enjoy the photos.

Stacey: Another man that you and I will never agree on.  Yes, so sexy, and his style (minus the gay biker chic) kills me.  But honestly, he reminds me so much of one of my really good friends that the sex appeal is all but dead for me.  Don’t get me wrong, though, I totally appreciate his hotness and can see why you lust after him.  And for the record, the part in James Bond that you mentioned, one of the greatest moments in cinematic history.

My husband has joined the global movement to grow a mustache in Movember, the month formerlly known as November.  He has committed to grow a lip friend for the entire month to bring awareness to Prostate Cancer.

Over a decade ago his grandfather lost his battle with prostate cancer and at that time is was a topic that was
rarely talked about. Since then, the times have changed and the word is out.

What many people don’t know is that 1 in 6 men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer in their lifetime. Prostate cancer is the most common cancer to afflict Canadian men with 25,500 diagnosed and 4,400 dying from the disease each year.  And because of these stats, my hubby is hoping that his hair growth will entice those to also give their support in the form of a donation.

 Last night Stacey & I got together to make up an I Smell Smut’s top 20 hottest guys (coming soon!) and one of the criteria on our list was the star’s “style”. Daniel Craig did pretty well overall on the list, but this outfit today is making me question his style mark. What is this? Gay ’70s biker? Ouch. This choice in apparel is also making me re-evaluate my “Lust Factor” score for DC.

Stacey, are we still allowed to revise our list?

Stacey: Hey, its our list and we can do what we want with it.  However, I feel that what is throwing this whole outfit off is the mustache.  Don’t judge him based on that.  I think without the mustache this look would be ok.  But if you want to change your marks, feel free.  I won’t judge you.  But just remember this picture whenever you question my lust for Colin Farrell.

PS I love the girl in the background who seems to be realizing at this exact second who she is walking beside.  Her face says “Oh my gosh, its James Bond.  He must be in disguise”.

If you recall, I was not too fond of the mustache that Daniel Craig has been sporting for his new play with Hugh Jackman.  I thought he looked like a bad 80′s TV cop.

But after seeing this picture, I have to say that I am warming to the look.  He is just so dashing.  The jacket, the blue shirt, the stance, the scarf!  Please! So handsome, so confident.  This is how you rock a bad mustache.  Take note, men.  Unless you can look like this with a mustache, never grow one, you’ll just embarrass yourself.
