WTF?  Did NOT seet this coming.

J-Lo and Marc Anthony have decided to call it quits.

Well, maybe I kind of get it.  J-Lo always upgrades when she is riding a popularity wave.

What?  You don’t think so?  Think about it for a bit.  Puff Daddy was having legal issues so she married Chris Judd.  Then she upgraded to Ben Affleck when Chris Judd got boring.  Then she married Marc Anthony.  Since she is all famous again because of American Idol she is looking for someone new.

This will be her third divorce.

Tanya: Wow. I did not see that coming. Wonder if there’s a good gossipy story to go with it?

I didn’t see this coming, but that’s probably because I don’t care about these two at all. Are they on my least favourite celebrity coupleslist? No? Then I don’t have to update it. Yay! Less work for me!

Anyway, Ashlee Simpson is citing irreconcilable differences (which I think really means “Pete let himself go and is no longer flat ironing his hair to look good for her”) and is asking for primary custody of Bronx. I know nothing of their relationship except that Pete Wentz is always out with Bronx and Ashlee looks like she’s trying to become some sort of Renee Zellweger/Michelle Williams crossover so I’d give the custody to Pete. Sure he might just be using his son for positive press, but I’m a sucker for father-son time.

Stacey: According to Lainey, there have been infidelity rumors surrounding these two for a while.  Allegedly, he is unfaithful when on the road.  Duh.  Like I said, I could never ever be married to a musician or athlete.  Ever.  And this is just supporting evidence as to why.

So Halle Berry and Gabriel Aubrey split up awhile ago, started out playing nice, then things started to get nasty. Halle called him a deadbeat, then there was rumours that she hired a PI to follow him around and spy on him, then Gabe’s camp came out with some stuff about her being crazy and having some anger control issues, then he filed for custody and “legal recognition” that he is Nahla’s father and now Halle is taking it another step further and requesting sole custody of Nahla and saying that Gabe is pretty much unfit to be a father.

Here’s the latest statement:

“Halle has serious concerns for her daughter’s well-being while in the care of her father for any extended period of time and is prepared to take all necessary steps to protect her,” the actress’s rep tells PEOPLE.
To clear her schedule for custody litigation, Berry, 44, pulled out of the film New Year’s Eve, set to start filming this week in New York. She’s being replaced by Katherine Heigl.
“She has attempted to resolve these custody issues amicably with her daughter’s father, Gabriel Aubry, directly, but given his lack of cooperation, Halle has no choice but to seek swift judicial intervention,” her rep says.

Something about this seems super fishy. Like she’s going to marry that douchy guy she’s dating and wants him to legally adopt Nahla but can’t because Gabriel Aubrey still has legal parental rights or something. It’s good to see that Gabriel is fighting for his daughter when so many dads don’t – but that could be off too. Maybe he’s just doing it for the Halle money? Who knows.

The one thing I do know is that pulling out of New Year’s Eve is no sacrifice. It’s like Valentine’s Day 2and if you’re being replaced by Katherine Heigl it’s probably a pretty insignificant part anyway.

Stacey: Ya, something about this just doesn’t seem right.  And, IMO, I think it’s that Halle is just being a vindictive bitch.  I’m sorry, but “serious concerns” for her well being makes it sound like Gab is beating Nahla or leaving her unsupervised for extended periods or letting her play with knives or letting her smoke.  To me, unless someone is some abusive, neglectful, irresponsible asshole, there is no reason that a father should be kept from either parent.  And doing so, solely to be spiteful (which this seems like) will do far more damage to the child than allowing her to be with that parent.

I know we don’t really know what is going on but if we are picking sides…I am Team Gab all the way.

I did NOT see this coming – Scarlett Johansson & Ryan Reynolds have decided to call off their marriage. They released a joint statement this afternoon:

“After long and careful consideration on both our parts, we’ve decided to end our marriage,” they say in a joint statement. “We entered our relationship with love and it’s with love and kindness we leave it. While privacy isn’t expected, it’s certainly appreciated.”

This makes me sad. Ryan Reynolds and Scarlett Johansson were one of my favourite couples for sure.

Stacey: WHAT?  I was shocked when I read this.  I really can’t believe these two split.  How sad.  Maybe they will reconcile?

Who knew “Stay Tuned” would translate to only a few hours?

People is reporting that Eva Longoria spilled the beans to her BFF, Mario Lopez on Extra about her impending divorce from Tony Parker.

Apparently Tony cheated on her early on in their marriage, however, they decided to stick it out with one another.

That is until she found hundreds of texts between him and another woman.  Not just any other woman…the wife of one of his San Antonio Spurs teammates.

Ouch.

While the name of the wife or team mate is unknown for now, I am sure it will be dug up in the near future.

What would you do if you were one of Tony’s team mates?  Would you be suspicious of him?  And your wife?  You can bet that they all will be having some serious conversations in the near future.

Way to stir up the drama, Eva.  I am suddenly much more interested in this story.

Tanya: I heard it was Brent Barry’s wife, but to be honest I don’t know who that is so I don’t really care. I’ve also heard that he was unfaithful at the start of their marriage too and that he’s kept in touch with that woman. Eva Longoria is said to have filed for spousal support so all this might just be so she can get some more money – but when you make $200,000 an episode and weren’t left with any mouths to feed aside from your own, I think you should just stick with what you’ve got.

Ok peeps.  See if you can try to keep up.

Yesterday TMZ reported that Tony Parker had filed for divorce from his wife of 3 years, Eva Longoria.  Then, within hours, Eva’s rep contact TMZ, TMZ retracted saying it was all a misunderstanding. 

But then the buzz started.  You know the buzz.  The internet gossip buzz.

And then this morning US Weekly posts their new cover story.  Apparently, Eva caught Tony cheating with a mutual friend.

And now?  Both TMZ and Us Weekly are reporting that Eva has filed for divorce.  This time its legit.  And girl is asking for spousal support. 

I never really cared about this couple so I don’t really feel anything about it but it is always sad when divorces happen.  But something about this couple always seemed…off to me. 

But what happened here?  Did Tony’s people not get the memo that Eva would be the one to file for divorce.  Because you know that this was all planned ahead of time.  This story wreaks of something super smutty happening.

Another Update: So this actually is true. Eva Longoria filed for divorce from Tony today and the word is that it’s because he was unfaithful. Gee. A professional athlete who is unfaithful to his wife? Never hear that one before… *eye roll*

Update: Apparently this story is not true. Eva’s rep called OK to say it was all lies and now TMZ has retracted the story too.

Aw, sad news on the favourite couples front: Tony Parker and Eva Longoria are calling it quits. TMZ is reporting that Tony Parker filed for divorce yesterday.

I actually liked these two. They both seem like genuinely nice people – too bad it didn’t work out.

Some stories are so perfect I couldn’t make them up myself. This is one of them. Apparently Tish Cyrus was having an affair with Bret Michaels:

Michaels, 47, “became close to the entire family” this past February when he and Miley released the racy duet “Nothing to Lose,” an insider tells Us Weekly.
He and Tish, 43, soon began carrying on an on-the-sly romance, sources tell Us Weekly.
Tish was seen at Michaels’ Feb. 28 show at the Key Club in L.A., and he had once asked her production company’s help to adapt his book, Roses & Thorns, into a movie.
…. “It was a professional relationship that turned into something more.”

This is a match made in trailer trash heaven. The only way this could get better is if it turns out that Noah Cyrus is the love child of Tish & Micheal, and Billy Ray Cyrus was having an affair with Shauna Sand.

Part of me doesn’t believe this though. That part of me is convinced that Bret Michaels and Tish Cyrus are actually sisters.

Stacey:  Firstly, I would just like to say Bazinga because I totally called out the smut on this one. 

Secondly, what I can’t believe is that women still want to sleep with Bret Michaels.  Eew.  Did you see him on Celebrity Apprentice when he was doing the “back of the bus thrust” (it was a work out move); it was pretty much the grossest thing I have ever seen.

And I totally believe this happened.  Please.  Tish would totally want to see this when the alternative is Billy Ray.  Do you think she knows what is really underneath that bandana?  Do you think he keeps it on when doing the deed?  That would be worse than keeping on your socks!

After 17 years of marriage and 5 kids, Billy Ray Cyrus and Tish are calling it quits. The divorce papers cite “irreconcilable differences” as the reason but I’m going to go out on a limb and say it’s because Miley Cyrus turns 18 in November and they know that the gravy train is coming to a stop. It’s best to remove yourself from the situation before she starts walking around braless, speaking fake languages, or demanding Starbucks open to make her a Frappucinno at 3am. But judging from the photo above, it’s already started.

Stacey: This story gives me the creeps for some reason.  Why would they break up now?  Something fishy is going on here…

Page Sixis reporting that Christina Aguilera dumped her husband because he was “holding her back” and that he was the reason that her latest album didn’t sell well.

Uh what? I honestly don’t think that Jordan Bratman was the reason the album didn’t sell well. I’m going to go with the fact that she channeled Madonna circa 1992 for her album promotion which really creeped us out, along with the fact that the album sucks.

So, if Christina Aguilera is splitting from Bratman because he was “bad for album sales” that pretty much confirms our previous theory that she’s doing it all for publicity.

Stacey: Mahahaha….ahahahaha….ahaha.  That is totally awesome.
