Elton John & David Furnish had a baby boy on Christmas Day via surrogate and have named him Zachary Jackson Levon Furnish-John. Do you think they named him Levon because in Elton John’s song Levon it says that Levon was born on Christmas Day or do you think they had that planned out beforehand? At least it wasn’t Honky Cat Tiny Dancer Levon Furnish-John.

Elton John is 62. Personally, I think that’s kinda old to be taking on parenthood but that’s just my opinion. I did a quick search on the life expectancy of men in the UK and this is what I found:

Life expectancy at age 65 – the number of further years someone reaching 65 in 2007–09 could expect to live – is also higher for women than for men. Based on 2007–09 mortality rates, a man aged 65 could expect to live another 17.6 years, and a woman aged 65 another 20.2 years. (source)

So statistically speaking Elton John will live to see his kid turn 20 and that’s about it. Harsh. Not only is the chance of your dad dying while you’re still in high school sucky but having such old parents would have it’s drawbacks while you’re alive too.

Stacey: Do you think when he was born that Elton had his piano close and sang “And he shall be Levon and he shall be a good man…He shall be Levon!”?  No?  Ok, just thought I would check.

Tanya: I don’t know if Elton John did that but I can confirm that I did that when I read that he named him Levon.

LMAO.  Seriously, this picture is too funny.  Why is Sting dressed like that?  Just when we thought Gaga was the strangest looking person in every picture, Sting dresses like…I don’t even know what this is but its cracking me up.

And Gaga, for once, isn’t looking like a hot mess.  She actually looks really nice in this picture.  And somewhat normal.  For her anyways.

Tanya: Gaga looks like Lourdes Leon in this photo. And Elton looks like the straightest person here which is a pretty big deal. Seriously, if you make Elton John look straight you should get a parade or something.
