Gary Oldman, Tanya’s old man crush, is apparently filming scenes for a new Red Riding Hood movie called The Girl with the Red Riding Hood, where he will play a character called Father Soloman.  I can’t find out much about the actual movie, but I will see it if only to see Gary Oldman wearing this awesome purple robe.  No one would be able to rock this look except Gary.

Tanya: I’ll go see this with you. Not only does it have my man Gary Oldman, but it also has Lukas Haas who was in Mars Attacks! which is one of those movies that I am embarrassed to admit I really love. Will Lukas Haas be as awkward in The Girl With the Red Riding Hood? Only time will tell.

Gary Oldman can rock the purple robe better than anyone else, but it’s still a really weird thing to wear. I’m glad it’s for a movie and not to wear around the house.

Personally, I think Gary Oldman is one of the best actors out there and it doesn’t help that he plays some of my favorite characters (Comish Gordan & Sirius Black!). I also really admire his acting. Big time. He’s one of the few actors that you believe the character instead of seeing the actor playing the character. In Sid & Nancy it’s not Gary Oldman playing Sid, it IS Sid. In Batman you see Christian Bale playing Bruce Wayne, but Gary Oldman IS Commissioner Gordan. I could go on but I think you get my point.

So from ISS to Gary Oldman, happy birthday and keep up the awesome <3

Stacey: You forgot one of his best roles! Jean-Baptiste Emanuel Zorg from The Fifth ELement.  Gary Oldman totally rocks.  And he is a sexy beast.  Happy birthday Gary!

Mila Kunis is a little hottie, but I’ve got my eye on Gary Oldman. My old-man crush. A wonderful actor and charasmatic dude.

The Commish & Meg were at Comic-Con to promote their new movie “The Book of Eli” which also stars Denzel Washington. While he was there Commish Gordon confirmed that the third Batman will start production next year!!! EEEEEEIIII!!!! So. Excited. Must. Breathe.

I WILL wait in line for the midnight showing of this one, as I did with the last.

Gordon is also currently working on Harry Potter 7 (!!).

Stacey: Yup, Gary Oldman is a silver fox, that’s for sure.  My fav movie of his is The Fifth Element.  And Batman.  My excitement for New Moon could only be matched by my excitement for the next Batman!  Who will the next villains be? Let the speculation begin!
