Kingston Rossdale totally got picked up by a chick at the park today. Who could blame her for making a move on this obviously younger gentleman? He’s got serious style and a set of car keys. Game on.

Actually, the story goes that the girl came over to talk to Kingston and he got all shy and nervous so his dad had to come over and help him break the ice. Then Gavin Rossdale totally killed Kingston’s chances by doing this:

Gavin Rossdale with his sons Kingston & Zuma at the premier of Gnomeo & Juliet and they all wore matching sunglasses. These boys are so adorable. I wonder if Gwen Stefani also has a pair of shades like these?

Stacey: When I was deciding which celeb family I most wanted to be adopted into, the Stefani-Rossdales were definitely in the running.  However, while Zuma and Kingston are insanely cute and look super bad-ass, they also look like they would be a handful.  Seriously.  Look at those faces.  T-R-O-U-B-L-E.

If Gavin Rossdale took part in the family bleaching, the Rossdales could almost pass as the Malfoys. Gwen and Narcissa always have that ‘put together’ look, and here Gavin looks like he has the same air of arrogance that Lucius has. The only difference is the kids. Kingston & Zuma both have the bleached blonde hair, but I don’t think either of them are as meticulously spiteful as Draco Malfoy. They’re a little more fiery.

One of my favourite celebrity couples, Gwen Stefani & Gavin Rossdale, took in the US Open over the weekend. Love the nail polish colour Gwen is wearing. Do not love the mulletish way Gavin has his hair.

Stacey: Ya, I am not overly digging it either but they are both so cool that it really is just beyond us.  If its cool enough for Gavin and Gwen, then it is cool enough for me.  Who am I to argue really?

Here’s a round-up of the best and the average outfits at the 2010 MET Gala. Worst dress list to follow!

Best: Blake Lively, Emma Watson and Satsuki Mitchell. Blake’s dress is a great colour and the cut suits her – I just hope this is a standing event or someone is going to get a show. Emma’s dress is crisp and fresh with the right combination of Greco-Roman-call-girl (that is a compliment, I guess). And Satsuki Mitchell keeps it classy when all these other ladies are just over the top. Plus her dress brings out Daniel Craig’s eyes. Awwww!

Zoe Saldana & Gwen Stefani were THIS close to getting on my best list but their outfits are just a little off. Zoe’s looks good when she does the ‘over the shoulder’ look but head on it’s a little too much and Gwen’s kinda looks like either cotton batting or spiderwebs. It’s not doing it for me.

JLo, please, honey, tone it down a little.

Stacey: This year was a little disappointing for me.  I didn’t love love love anyone’s dress.  Ok, maybe Emma Watson.  Actually, oddly, I really liked Katy Perry.  It was fun and adventurous and had tons of personality…just like her!  Other than that, it was a big, fat “meh” from me.  Boring!

Awwwww.  This picture warmed my cranky, crusty heart this morning so I thought I would share.

Cutest family ever.  I hope Gavin and Gwen have one more baby, a little girl.  Could you imagine how gorgeous she would be?  I would have to steal her to have as my own.

Tanya: OMG Zuma is so awesome. And Gavin being all fatherly doesn’t hurt either It seems like this family just has so much fun.

If you ever needed more proof that Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale are better than the rest of us, here is a picture to add to their case.

Here is the perfect pair with their adorable, dino loving son, Kingston, enjoying the sun and life on the beach.

Look how their smiles indicate that the know how good looking they are.  Do you think they are laughing at the rest of us?

“Oh Gwen, we really are fabulous aren’t we?”

“You are absolutly right Gavin.  Look how much better looking we are than every other person on the beach.”

“I am fairly certain we are the best looking couple in this whole city”.

“No, in this whole country”.

“How could I Smell Smut only have me at #16 on their Hottest Guys list?  I am clearly better looking than everyone else”.

Oh how they mock us with their laughter.

Tanya: I don’t think they think they’re better than we are, but we think that. I wish I had that bikini body!

Oh Gavin.  He really is gorgeous isn’t he?  And he has staying power.  He has been hot since I was 13, back in the Bush X days.  Back when he was the star and Gwen was the nobody.  While the tables have definitely turned in the fame department, nothing has changed in the hotness department.  In fact, I would say he has gotten hotter over the years. He has an amazing face, great hair, a pretty good body and his accent kills me every time!

So what could possibly be his down fall?  He has a bit of a drama factor to him.  For starters, he has a grown daughter with a woman from his past that he didn’t know about until a few years ago.  No, most likely not his fault that he didn’t know, but still.  Drama! Could you imagine being with a guy for, what, 13 years then finding out he has a kid with someone else?  That would send me running for the hills.   And the maybe gaybe rumors have followed him for a while too.   Again, not a bad thing, just too much drama for my liking.

His redeeming qualities?  How well he has handled the drama.  And the fact that he and Gwen have been together for, like, ever.  I love the fact that he is comfortable with his woman being the power person in the relationship.  And Gavin the dad?  While I don’t like kids, I love seeing a man being a loving and caring father.   And it doesn’t hurt that his children are gorgeous, just like him.

Overall, Gavin made a solid showing.  Tanya and I generally agreed on him; Sexy, talented, but just a little too much drama.

PS.  Do you know how hard it is to find a picture of Gavin without Gwen…jeeze….

Tanya : I am amazed that Gavin Rossdale has not really changed over the last 13 years, but has still never gotten stale. He has the longevity of hotness that escapes most men and is incredibly casual about it all. And the English accent? Drool! If Kingston becomes a rocker he is going to be a little heart breaker just like his papa.
