To answer your question pre-emptively, Tanya, I’ll stop talking about the Brad-Jen-Angie triangle when they stop talking about it.

To promote Moneyball Brad Pitt recently gave an interview with Parade Magazine and had this to say about Jen Aniston:

I spent the ‘90s trying to hide out, trying to duck the full celebrity cacophony. I started to get sick of myself sitting on a couch, holding a joint, hiding out. It started feeling pathetic. It became very clear to me that I was intent on trying to find amovie about an interesting life, but I wasn’t living an interesting life myself,” he continues. “I think that my marriage had something to do with it. Trying to pretend the marriage was something that it wasn’t.”

See.  If they wanted us to drop it they would drop it.  But they don’t.  Even after all of these years, Brad just mentioning Jen’s name caused world wide interest.  What better way to get people to talk about you and your movie than bringing up something that still gets everyone talking?

So was it kind of low class to talk about his marriage that way?  Was he trying to insinuate something?  Apparently not as Brad released this statement the following day:

It grieves me that this was interpreted this way. Jen is an incredibly giving, loving, and hilarious woman who remains my friend. It is an important relationship I value greatly. The point I was trying to make is not that Jen was dull, but that I was becoming dull to myself — and that, I am responsible for.

I don’t know what he meant by what he said or what the intention was…but to me, he is saying, I wasn’t happy.  And that is ok I guess.  He is allowed to want to be happy.  Cheating on your wife, though, isn’t ok, even if it is with your future baby mama.  But I also think he has a right to talk about his feels and not be vilified for it.  But maybe not doing it in such a public forum…what did he think was going to happen when he said that?  And because he is so in control of his image I can’t believe that was accidental.

Tanya: First things first: can we please always say “talk about his feels” instead of “talk about his feelings”? I like “feels” better.

Second: I’m on the same page with you here – if he’s going to talk about it, it’s open to talk about. It’s when the subject gets forced that I’m not cool with. Like, when Jen & her new boy are out and talking about themselves and the media are like “obviously Jen misses Brad”.

Third: I really like what Brad says here: “I was intent on trying to find amovie about an interesting life, but I wasn’t living an interesting life myself” I think that’s really cool that he’s confident enough to say that when a lot of people don’t.

After allegedly breaking up a relationship to be together what seems like only a week ago, Jen Aniston and Justin whatshisname (honestly, I don’t care enough to remember who to spell his last name) are moving quickly, with Justin moving into Jen’s pad in LA and also stepping out wearing matching rings.

Do I even need to roll my eyes or is that go without saying?

Well, it has officially been confirmed that Jennifer Aniston is the biggest hypocrite on the face of the planet.  After the last 6 or seven years of her blaming her marriage ending on Angelina Jolie’s meddling vagina, Jen is now the home wrecker.

Last week I posted about Jenn and her new publicity stunt boyfriend, Jason Theroux, had started cavorting with one another while Jason was still in a long term relationship.  Turns out he was in a very long term relationship; they had been together for 14 years and even lived together and she has since moved out of their home.  According to her rep, she has “no comment”.

You know, for someone who has been building her imagine on being the jilted woman and how wrong it was for Brad and Angie to do what they did, leading people like Chelsea Handler to call her the c-word, this is pretty crappy.  I mean, it definitely doesn’t change what they allegedly did, but how can Jen sit up on her high horse anymore if she isn’t any better.

Jen and Justin’s people are both quick to say that Justin and his GFs relationship was done before he met Jen.  Sure sure.  But….that is what Brad and Angie have always said too.

Well, Jen, if this is indeed true…

Hypocracy thy name is you.

Tanya: I honestly hope that this ends this whole Brad/Jen thing and that people can just move on. Jennifer Aniston is a home wrecker too now. Every body is even (except for this guys GF), now let’s let it go.

I usually don’t really care about Jennifer Aniston’s love life.  Aside from when she was hooking up with John Mayer, it usually gives me a case of the yawns because her moves are pretty tired.  Whenever she has a movie coming out she suddenly has a hot new romance…coincidentally.  Riiiight.

Anyways, her latest showmance appears to be Justin Theroux.  Ya, I don’t really know who he is either expect that he was in Charlie’s Angels, although I am sure that Megan will be able to tell us what else he has been in.

So, it really wasn’t that interesting to me until this morning, when I read this article over at Celebitchy saying that Justin actually has a long time girlfriend.  Oh really?

Now, you all know that I love to rag on Angelina Jolie for being a home wrecker, and Tanya can’t understand why I can’t let that go, so, in order to avoid being hypocritical I am going to have judge Jennifer Aniston here, if it is indeed true.

Being “the other person” in a relationship is not cool, under any circumstances.  And its not that Jen has right out blamed Ang for the demise of her relationship but she certainly hasn’t stopped the talk about it.  So, because of this, she kind of loses her right to sit on her high horse and look down her nose at Angie.  And because she knows how it feels, she most certainly should not be doing this, if indeed true.

And if it is true…in her own words….that is really uncool.

Sad news.  Jennifer Aniston’s dog, Norman, passed a way.  He was 15 years old.

As a dog owner, I can’t even imagine how sad she must be.  I know my dogs have been there for me through some tough times.  Their companionship is unconditional.

Condolences to Jen.

Tanya: Sad news I just watched Marley & Me yesterday too where her dog died. To me, she just lost two dogs.

I am sorry, I know a lot of you out there don’t like Jennifer Aniston but…she looks freakin’ amazing.  I love the hair.  I love the dress.  I love the color of the dress.  She looks incredible.

Lainey had an interesting little tidbit on her site today.  I haven’t yet seen it anywhere else but apparently the source is People Magazine so it must be some what legit…or at least planted and approved by one of their publicists.

Apparently, newly single Bradley Cooper and perpetually single Jennifer Aniston have “reconnected” after going on a couple dates prior to him dating Squinty McSkinny, Renee Zellwegar.

You know what?  I actually totally love this.  First of all, I think these two would look amazing together.  Second of all, they both appear to be, ummm, willing to benefit from the mutual publicity that this would garner.

Until I see anything more about it, I am going to assume it is just another random rumor.  But secretly, I hope it is true.

Tanya: I love this hook up. They seem like they’d be a good pair – as much as any two people you don’t know can seem like a good pair. Maybe because they have similar hotness levels? I’m going to believe this is true.

I wonder if Jennifer Aniston is trained to speak in cliches.  Some times when I read what she is saying, all I can think is “does she really believe that”.  It’s all so “rah rah girl power” that I can’t help but throw her a big, fat eye roll.  And her latest interview with Red Magazine is chalk full of them.  Here are some of my favorites:

On her room: ‘There’s a lot of down pillows,’ she confesses. ‘I’m a pillow girl, so I can create the closest thing to a cloud that I can.’

Best stress-release: ‘Laughter.’

Best friend:‘So many. I couldn’t do that! I’ll say “me”.’

Best way to spend a weekend: ‘With your nearest and dearest. You know me, I always love a little beach getaway. I’m a creature of habit and I just love the sound of the ocean. A place where you can go and throw it all away.’

Oh gawd, does she really believe all this crap?  She is her own best friend?  I don’t know if that is supposed to make us admire her or feel sorry for her.

Look, I get that she needs to pander a bit to the “mini van majority” as they are the ones that buy her perfumes and go see her movies and all that jazz.  But do any of these women actually believe that Jen is anything like them?  This woman has millions of dollars, is in insanely good shape, can date whomever she wants, is pretty much always on vacation…are these cliches the only thing she has in common with them?

And, of course, they have to talk about Jen having babies, suggesting that she and George Clooney get together and have babies.   Seriously.  What is wrong with everyone.  It is obvious that neither of them even want kids (even though she always says she does, to appease her audience”.  Why is it that the media is constantly trying to push social norms on these people who clearly live on the outside of these constructs?  It’s insulting.

What is more insulting is that Jen obviously thinks we are all buying this garbage.  Honestly, I would like her better if she just owned the fact that she is single and has no interest in finding a man and has no interest in having kids.  Do you want to know why, at 42, she looks as amazing as she does?  Its because she doesn’t have kids and does what ever the heck she wants.  If she would just own up to loving that, I would like her so much more.

Tanya: I totally disagree about the whole “mini-van majority” thing here. Do you think that the average person reads this and thinks “gee, that’s just like me. I have way too many friends to pick just one bestie and I LOVE sleeping on clouds. I totally relate to Jen because I also love the sound of the ocean when I go to my beach property”. No. They’re saying “bitch. I don’t care if you’re single and miserable forever.” A woman who has the time & money to just do yoga on the beach all day to keep her body tanned and toned and then drinks martinis in the evening with her friends while watching the sun set over the ocean is not getting any sympathy. Especially not from the “mini van majority” who have had their bodies and bank accounts destroyed by children and are too tired and broke to even think about making it to a yoga class, let alone to a quick Mexico getaway with the girls.

Stacey: They may not “actually” relate to her but her care free, baby free, husband free lifestyle are what many women wish they had.  And Jenn is the BFF they all wish they had.  Middle aged mommies love Jenn.  It’s true.  She represents what they could have or maybe, for some, what they would like to have.  Anyone else wanting back me up on this?
