Jennifer Garner & Jeremy Renner at the Critics Choice Awards

Martha Stewart knows how to get people to open up – just get them drunk! Jennifer Garner told about how she got drunk filming Martha Stewart’s Christmas special because it was all champagne drinking and no eating on set:

“By the time we get to cooking and having our champagne, I hadn’t had anything to eat… and I got drunk. They needed it (champagne drinking) for continuity and it tasted good… and whenever I’m around her (Stewart) I suddenly get really West Virginian and southern… and so I got drunk and southern, and it was the worst combination,” she added.

“I can’t bear to watch it because I just started talking faster and faster.”

Getting drunk with Martha Stewart would probably be a lot of fun. You know how when people get drunk they show off all kinds of weird “talents” they have? Well imagine Martha Stewart saying “but have you ever seen anyone do this before?!” and who knows what comes after that. Or else it would be the exact opposite and you’d get something like “well you know, whenever you’re filming a champagne segment it’s always a good idea to have some saltine crackers and citrus infused water on hand so you don’t get sloppy on television” and make you feel like an ass.

Christina Aguilera is a mess. Recently she went to Jeremy Renner’s party (which she was not invited to), got all drunk and passed out in his bed.

A week later, Renner went on a rant about the incident at In Style’s Golden Globe party after seeing Aguilera at the fete.
“Someone comes and tells me she’s in my room,” he told pals at the Jan. 16 affair. “I run up and open the door and I’m like, ‘Um, hi. What are you doing?’ She just starts slurring. Her boyfriend [Matthew Rutler] was rubbing her back. Who comes to someone’s birthday party that they don’t know and gets in their bed?! My parents were there!”
Adds another source, “Christina was a mess at that party. She acted like a fool. Her boyfriend was shushing her and telling her to go to sleep.” (Us Weekly)

If you’re at a party and people are telling you to shush and go to sleep you are way too drunk to still be there (unless it’s a slumber party and you’re not drunk you’re just giddy, then it’s to be expected). Seriously, we’ve all been at parties where there’s the one person doing the falling asleep nod mixed with the random incoherent story and it’s pathetic.

But I guess this might mean that she’s not pregnant after all?

Stacey: You know, I just feel a little bad for her right now.  Obviously she is going through some heavy sh*t right now and it kind of makes me sad for her.  At first, I laughed about this story, but then I started to feel bad.  Plus, there is the story about her bitching out Julianne Hough after the Golden Globes.  Something appears to be amiss with Xtina.  Hopefully she can straighten herself out.  Because as funny as these stories appear to be, they are also a warning sign that she is in some trouble.

You know, Jeremy Renner doesn’t really do it for me most days.  Not sure why, he just doesn’t.  But this picture from GQ is totally doing it for me.

We didn’t really report on it here but apparently Edward Norton was recently booted from the new Avenger’s film where he was set to reprise his role as the Hulk.  Ed is notoriously difficult to work with as he expects a lot of creative control and is really hands on.  Ironically, his temper got him fired from playing a character who is famous for his temper. Anyways, there was some he said/she said after the studio released a scathing letter about him.  Which left everyone wondering who would fill his shoes for the much anticipated role.

With Comic-Con running this past weekend, the the actor was revealed.  Apparently, the new Hulk will be played by Mark Ruffalo.  Hmmm.  I am neither excited or disappointed by that.  I guess I really liked Norton as the Hulk and was disappointed by his dismissal.  And I like Mark Ruffalo a lot, but as The Hulk?  Not sold on it.

Tanya: Really? Mark Ruffalo? I guess I’ll have to see the movie to decide on this one. And Comic-Con in Calgary isn’t nearly as cool as the one in wherever this is, but we can go next year if you want. ISS day trip?
