Funny story: Kristen and Dakota make out a bit in the movie but Kristen wasn’t allowed to “grope” Dakota because she was only 15 and there are restrictions on that sort of thing.

Stacey: Totally hot picture.  I would love to hang out with that group of chicks.

Not only do you get to play Joan Jett & Cherie Currie on film BUT you also get to hang out with them too. Jealous!

I am also blown away at out much Kristen Stewart & Dakota Fanning look like Joan Jett & Cherie Currie.

Love Dakota Fanning’s dress. I got to wear a similar one for a bridesmaid’s dress last month – yay for bridesmaid’s dresses that don’t suck!!

Joan Jett worked quite closely with Kristen Stewart while they filmed The Runaways and Joan has built quite a bit of respect for her.

“Kristen was so into it, into the whole vibe of doing this,” Jett reports. “I think she felt a weight and a responsibility to interpret it correctly. She was really serious about it and was watching me and asking me all sorts of question, from speech aspects to watching my body language, watching where I stood, watching my guitar playing. She really worked hard to get it right.”

We’ve seen quite a few photos of Kristen Stewart and Dakota Fanning on set for The Runaways and I’m looking forward to seeing it. I used to harbor a dream to be a chick rocker and I think this movie will let me live vicariously through Kristen & Dakota

Stacey: Totally.  I always wanted that too.  Actually, scratch that.  I always wanted to be the girl that the rocker guys sang about.  I mean, who doesn’t want a rock song written about them?  But alas, I have yet to meet my rocker dude.

Kristen rocks though.  I will totally see this movie.

Kristen Stewart gets a little one on one coaching from Joan Jett, whom she is playing in The Runaways. Awesome! This makes me want to be an actor.

Stacey: I think I have a girl crush on on Kristen.  She is rocking that haircut.  And she gets to hang with Joan Jett?  Too cool, man.
