Kate Hudson and that guy from Muse were out and decided to hide from photographers by putting his head in a plastic bag. Even I know that isn’t safe.

But I’m not overly surprised that he is trying to kill himself. My husband probably would too if I went out in toe shoes like that. They’re a cool idea but they look stupid. I think they’d be fun to try but whenever I point them out in a store I get a giant “NO”. And honestly, I’d be embarrassed if I was photographed out and about wearing them.

I love this dress on Kate Hudson. It actually makes her glow. Kate Hudson is normally pretty radiant but I think this colour really does the trick for her.

Is it just me or did her bump like triple in size over the last week?

Stacey: I like this dress too and yes it seems like her belly has tripled in size over the last week.  But remember when she was pregnant with her first kid?  And she gained 75 lbs?  Maybe that is what is happening here.

Well, last night was the Met Gala and what that means is that everyone and their dogs were attending wearing their bold and/or beautiful best.  Since the pictures are giving me a big, fat, case of the yawnies, rather than posting a million posts about each individual dress, I just decided to pick a couple high lights and low lights.

Highlights?  I love Christina Ricci’s dress; I think she looks amazing.  And I know you guys don’t like Maggie Gyllenhaal but I do so I included her.  And I loved Emma Stone’s dress and Michelle Williams too.  And Sofia Vergara because, wek

Lowlights?  Brooklyn Decker is straight up offending me with her brightly colored, flat dress.  Seriously, this color is horrible and makes her look like she has zero shape.  And Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen.  Need I say more?

Tanya: I agree with you on all except Christina Ricci – her dress accentuates her tiny waist a little too much and makes her body look incredibly weird.

Some others I’ve come across and wanted to add: Beyonce’s dress was so tight she had to be carried up the stairs, Kate Hudson decided to accentuate her ass to make her baby bump look smaller (?), Miranda Kerr wins the “Stripper Wedding Gown” award this year (there’s a dress that fits this category every year), Mary Kate Olson in her Mrs Clause dress and Demi Moore wearing the outfit that she probably wore to watch the Royal Wedding because she wasn’t invited.

Kate Hudson is knocked up by and now engaged to Matt Bellamy. I’d like to say “congrats” but I just don’t feel it. I’m sure some people meet and fall in love and know that this is the person they want to spend the rest of their life with right away, but some people also get so caught up in the passion of a new romance that they don’t wait for things to settle a bit before  moving forward.

This is how I feel about Kate Hudson. Like she can’t just take it one step at a time.  And this marriage will last maybe 5-7 years tops.

But, uh, congrats Kate.

Stacey: I know what you mean.  It always seems that Kate is rushing everything.  Didn’t this happen with her ex as well? 

My opinion is that getting married just because you are having a baby together isn’t the right reason to get married.  Maybe they lucked out and are a perfect match and will remain married forever and ever…but I  remember reading that this pregnancy was a surprise to them and not planned so something tells me that this probably isn’t the case.  Who knows though?

I just get so sick and tired of reading about all these celebs who are constantly getting married and then divorced then married and divorced again.  It just seems like marriage doesn’t mean anything to anyone anymore.  Scratch that.  It isn’t just marriage….it seems like relationships and commitment and family don’t mean anything to anyone anymore.  Ugh.  Sometimes after reading about all this I start to feel so jaded.

Not one to be left out of the growing number of people having babies, Kate Hudson has announced that she is also pregnant. Kate Hudson and Matt Bellamy have been dating for about 9 months.

Miranda Kerr and Orlando Bloom had a 10 pound baby boy.

John Travolta & Kelly Preston show off baby Benjamin, who is already totally over the photo shoot.

I think at this point the only celebs who aren’t pregnant are Jennifer Aniston and Jessica Simpson.

As cool as it would be to have Goldie Hawn for a mom, having a famous mom would probably lead to all kinds of embarrassing stories. Like this one (from I’m Not Obsessed):

“I was lying there and they were slicing and dicing or whatever, I had a C-section, I had my nails done … and all of sudden, out she comes and they said, ‘It’s a boy!’ And I said, ‘No it’s a girl!’ And, by the way, I didn’t know what it was. I just felt that it was a girl. And then they said, ‘Oh, no it’s a girl!’ And I said, ‘What part of her anatomy were you looking at?!’ “

And on how she picked the name “Kate”:

“I was on the 405, and she was inside me, and I was fooling around, and I felt really good, about eight months pregnant and I was going to name her Rebecca because it was biblical and romantic and gentle. All of sudden, she punched me so hard in my you-know-where. I screamed and I said, ‘Oh my God. This is a Kate, not a Rebecca! She is a Kate!’“

Wait, did Goldie Hawn just say that she was getting her nails done while she was having a C-section? Weird.

Stacey: Do these people have no boundaries?  When would it ever be ok for your mom to tell the world that you punched her in the “you know where”?  Seriously.  TMI!!!

Question: When you are named do you think that has anything to do with the forming of your personality?  Or do you think you just get used to your name?  Like, I am definitely a Stacey…is that because I am used to being called Stacey or because I became a Stacey?

I don’t buy it for a second. I can almost read both of their minds… Kate “Urgh. Pretentious Gwyn. I’m probably going to end up in her stupid email newsletter about fake tits.” Gwyneth “Urgh. Super-slut Kate Hudson. Glad Chris isn’t here…. I’m going to ‘blind item’ her and her fake tits in my next newsletter”.

Stacey: I buy it.  In fact, I fairly certain that they are actually friends.  They go out to concerts together, fashion shows. They are out together a lot and I have seen a lot of photos of them together at social events.  They have a lot of the same friends too like Stella McCartney.  Believe it or note, Gwyneth is actually quite popular in Hollywood.  Sorry Tanya, but I think these two are actual besties.

Tanya: Now that I think about it, you’re totally right. They do hang out together. And they’re BFFs with Stella McCartney. And Liv Tyler. Boooo. I was hoping for some GOOP drama.

Dlistedhas a post up that Kate Hudson and Thom Yorke were seen getting “cozy” at Coachella last week but I’m calling BS. Thom Yorke is notoriously reclusive and has said many times that he is not a fan of celebrity and fame. Nor the entitlement that comes with it.You may remember many stories of celebrities who try to meet him and he refuses, or stories where he refuses to do interviews or live performances, and the stories of him being incredibly depressed after OK Computer hit it big and he had to adapt to the fame (which is actually the topic of much of Kid A).

Kate Hudson would bring a lot of unwanted attention to his life. And she likes to be on the social scene which Thom Yorke definitely does not. He’s a crotchety old man who would rather not be recognized at all, but I still love him for putting up with it and making new albums for me to enjoy. <3

Plus he has a long-term relationship and 2 kids with another woman.

Stacey: Bahahaaahaaa….that’s a knew slapper alright!

I would say this is about as likely as Thom doing a duet with Miley Cyrus.

The gossip world has been speculating about Kate Hudson getting a boob job or possibly being pregnant because she has some more womanly curves at the moment.

People. Please calm down. Kate Hudson’s always been pretty flat because she has like zero body fat. You know what will give you bigger boobs and a softer tummy? Eating ribs. Like Kate Hudson is doing in this photo taken less than two weeks ago. And lets not give her such a hard time over it. Kate Hudson is by no means packing on the pounds or getting the Heidi Montag special at the doctors so please, let’s just all let this go.

Stacey: Even if she did get a boob job, it is so small that it doesn’t really matter. 

Whats the difference between this and, lets say Heidi, who has also had her boobs done?  Well, Heidi is doing it to get attention.  Kate, I can only assume, is doing it to improve on something that has always made her self conscious.  Are they large and offensive and unnatural?  No.  She maybe went from an A cup to a B cup. And who of us could honestly say that they wouldn’t change one small thing about themselves if given the opportunity?  Me?  It would be my nose.

And she is not pregnent.  I find it offensive that these girls put on 5 lbs and all of a sudden she is knocked up.  How offensive!
