Recently on Fashion Police, Kelly Osborne took out the kitty claws and took a mean swipe at Christina Aguilera. While we maybe have been not as nice to X-tina here, but Kelly took mean-ness to a whole level.
Joan Rovers compared Christina to Snooki, saying she looked like her Scandinavian cousin. Then Kelly shot back with this:
‘Maybe she’s just becoming the fat b***h she was always born to be. I don’t know. She was a c*** to me.
She called me fat for so many f**king years, so you know what? F**k you, you’re fat too!’
Wow, Kelly. Really? As a former fatty perhaps she should have some compassion for someone going through the same struggles as what she experienced. And really, people in glass houses shouldn’t throw stones. Because what if she doesn’t stay skinny forever? Than what?
Besides, if this is about revenge and getting back at Christina does she think that showing her that after all these years, Christina still bothers her and is under her skin is revenge? Ummmm no . All she is doing is showing X-tina that she has had free rent in Kelly’s head. If I were Christina, I wouldn’t give two sh*ts what Kelly says.
The above picture is the outfit they were criticizing. I actually don’t think its that bad.
Tanya: Kelly Osbourne should not be calling people fat bitches. Why is it always the former fatties that are the harshest on the new fatties? Ricky Gervais caught a lot of crap for doing that not too far back as well.

So Tired

November 4th, 2010Random ScentIs anyone else tired if seeing Kelly Osbourne’s face yet? Because I certainly am. She is everywhere right now and it is driving me crazy.
Look, I am really happy she got all skinny and all that but since when is getting skinny qualification to making you more famous?
She is already only famous for being the child of a famous person. When is she going to provide some sort of value for her fame? Never? Hmmmmm. Just as I suspected.
I realize that I am totally perpetuating this cycle by putting her on here for basically nothing but I just felt like I needed to vent a little.
Tanya: Totally agree. It’s great that she cleaned herself up and got to a healthy weight, but I’m over it. Do something interesting now.

Since Stacey isn’t on the “let’s dress like Lady Gaga for Halloween” bandwagon, I’m going to suggest she follow in Kelly Osbourne’s footsteps and dress like Coco. It can be pretty chilly in a string bikini in Calgary on Halloween (though I swear I still see it on the pub crawls) and string bikinis aren’t the best things to wear when you need butt pads and some balloon boobs so, like Kelly Osbourne, I’d suggest you go with one of her more “conservative” outfits. This is the exact one she wore on the runway (and you can see how the butt sags if you look close enough at the pic below!).
Stacey: OMG. This is magical. I wish I had had somewhere to go to wear this. I am definitely going to do this; either at the next costume part I go to (Christmas Party idea Tanya) or next Halloween. And Nate is going as Ice-T. I can’t wait!

Here’s Kelly Osbourne doing some promotional shoot for some HDTV thing all coated in gold paint. Is it just me or does she look a little like Paris Hilton in this pic?
Stacey: Totally looks like PH. Not a compliment. I am sorry Kelly.

September 3rd, 2010Random ScentHere is Kelly Osbourne leaving her performance with the Pussy Cat Dolls looking thin and happy and healthy.
Is it just me or does she have a freakishly large head? Like it doesn’t look like it fits on her body? Which isn’t being helped by that oddly large and bedazzled hat.
For funsies, I would like to draw your attention for a moment to the gentleman to her left. Photo bomb!
Tanya: Her head was large to begin with and now that she’s so skinny it looks ginormous. See, not all people binge eat when they have a breakup.

(Pics: Just Jared, Celebrity Smack)One of our readers recently asked us if we have posted anything on the now epic and infamous Mel Gibson rage tapes. For the most part, we have been staying away from the topic. As odd as it sounds, there are some things we tend not to write about and this, for both Tanya and I, has been one of those subjects because it is really serious and really sad. Hey, we do have some standards.
However, there are some funny aspects to this story. The funniest, in my opinion, has been the “I will burn your house down but first you will blow me” tape, which we posted about here. And apparently, it has been Jack Osbourne’s favorite part too.
How funny is this t-shirt? Not that these tapes should be taken lightly, but this is hilarious. So funny. But Mel is so crazy that I would be concerned for my safety if I were Jack. Mel’s scary and unbalanced.
Although, I think smiling and blowing at the same time would be rather difficult.
Thanks for the heads up on the t-shirt pics, Danger! While we won’t post the tapes, I hope this is a good compromise
Tanya: Kelly Osbourne has also been wearing one. I think these are going to catch on because they are hilarious, but it still makes me kinda sad because the whole situation is uncool and making fun of it takes away from the seriousness of it. But, when it comes down to it:
Funny t-shirt > extorting people for boatloads of cash > punching a baby
So Jack & Kelly Osbourne win this round.

Kelly Osbourne has a fairly interesting interview in the new Us Weekly talking about her weight loss. Kelly opens up and admits that it took lots of hard work at the gym and a portion controlled diet to get rid of the 42 pounds that people made fun of her for.The thing about this article that stood out to me was this:
“I took more hell for being fat than I did for being an absolute raging drug addict. I will never understand that.” (you can check out more of the interview here)
And it made me wonder “why?”. Last week we posted about Kevin Smith vs Southwest Airlines and some of the comments were that “it’s his own fault” and we as a society shouldn’t enable fat people. When it comes to weight I think we tend to put the blame solely on the individual. They could eat less, eat healthier, get more physical activity, stop being such a drain on health care, etc, etc. But with drugs I think we blame peer pressure, hanging out with a bad crowd and the inability to deal with stress. We also can’t see drug abuse like we can see weight gain. And with the tabloids running pics that point out your gut all the time that has to add some extra stress. And even though drug use and excess weight gain will both lead to an early death and a string of health problems, drugs give a young tragic death (Heath Ledger) whereas excess weight doesn’t kill you so immediately.
I also think that there is more stigma associated with being fat than doing drugs. Calling someone “fatty” will probably hurt their feelings but calling a drug addict a “druggie” might elicit a sense of pride.
Meh. That’s my social commentary for the day. I’m not overweight or a drug user (unless you count caffeine) so I am really just speculating.
Stacey: I would like to start by saying that I personally, blame each invidual for their addictions. While society may make them readily available (smokes, alcohol, fast food), it is the individual who ingests them and ultimately the individual who makes the decision to not stop what they are doing. With that being said, I think that being fat is judged greater because we as a “society” view it as being unattractive. You can be a coke addict and still be thin and pretty. You can smoke and still look great. Being fat is something that is easily recognizable and it is in our nature to weed out and pick on “weak” members of society. Is it fair? No. But it happens. Its unfortunate, sure. I am just glad Kelly has really gotten herself healthy. Because any addiction is bad, regardless of if it is “accepted” by society or not.

Probably in response to Kelly Osbourne’s comment about her face, Lady Gaga showed up to a press conference in some sort of high-fashion balaclava.Since we have some positive self-improvement going on here maybe Lady Gaga should suggest that Kelly Osbourne give up music & modelling.
Stacey: What is this face thing? Lady Gaga is so strange…however, this would look good on Kelly as well.

July 8th, 2009Gossip“She has everything but the face!”….“She talks way too much and has too much attitude. I just wish she’d keep her mouth shut.”
Those are Kelly Osbourne words when she was recently asked about Lady Gaga.
Really Kelly? Because I was just thinking the same thing about you.
Kelly is now denying having said any of those things.
Girls. Will you ever learn that everything you say will show up in the news somewhere in the world?
