We finally got what we have been asking for; a picture of Lady Gaga without any make up.

Shocking right?  It doesn’t even look like the same person.

While I won’t go as far as calling her “homely”, I also want fall all over myself saying how beautiful she is.

But I will commend her for finally taking all the barriers away and showing us what she looks like sans the theatrics.  And, IMO, I think she looks better.  For me, she looks more relatable.

But I am starting to wonder, as Tanya did, is this just her latest statement…shocking us by being normal?

Tanya: I don’t buy that this is sans-makeup. The perfect dark accent under her eye? The shimmer of her eyelid? The flawless skin? It just looks like a “natural” makeup job instead of a glamour one. Or just some serious airbrushing. For the amount this girl works and refuses to rest I think she’d probably look like a pile of crap if she just brushed her hair in the morning and didn’t get some touch-ups for a photo shoot.

While she isn’t wearing jeans and a t-shirt, Lady Gaga is dressed actually kind of normal, for Lady Gaga’s standards.

And you know what?  She actually looks really nice.  Or maybe I just think she looks nice because normally she looks like this.

Either way, I prefer this get-up to her normal pretentious attire that makes me feel like punching myself in the face.

Tanya: I was totally going to post about this too. Lady Gaga has been out several times lately looking shockingly normal. It’s a really nice change and I hope she sticks with it.

My question is this: do you think she’s dressing like this because she’s done with “statement dressing” or do you think she’s doing this as a statement?

Its Lady Gaga but who is stealing who’s look here?  Is this a recycled X-tina look?  Or was X-tine stealing Gaga’s look to begin with?

Just so they both know and we are clear moving forward, looking like a busted tranny isn’t a good look for anyone.

I would just once, once like to see Lady Gaga dressed like a normal person, in just a pair of jeans that fit her properly and a t-shirt with hardly any makeup and regular hair.  I bet she would look amazing.  Anything is better than this right?

Tanya: Lady Gaga is actually pretty homely. Not saying she wouldn’t look better, just saying that you shouldn’t get your hopes too high for this one.

Its been a while since I have raged about Lady Gaga.  I feel like I am due for another anti Gaga post.  I feel like I forget about how angry she makes me.  But then I see her wearing stupid outfits like this and all of the face-punching anger I have towards he comes rushing back.

These outfits are just so…they aren’t even outfits.  They aren’t even art, like she claims.  They are cries for attention.  There is no other explanation for that outfit.  Or that “hat”.   I wish she would just disappear so I didn’t have to waste any more time on her.

You know, I keep hearing that she is on the edge of something somewhere.  She claims it’s glory.  I say it is irrelevancy.  But she says she is on the edge somewhere.  And apparently there are others there too.  Can someone please do me a favor and finally push her over the edge so that we don’t have to think/talk about her anymore?

I wish she would just disappear so I didn’t have to waste any more time on her.

Tanya: My brother-in-law ran into her in Japan last week. I’ll post the photos when I get them.

Did you watch the MMVAs last night?

Me neither.

And I’m glad I didn’t because apparently this happened. Yuck.

Stacey: Everything about Lady Gaga makes me angry.  And this is just plain stupid.  There is no reason.  What statement is she trying to make?

Not only does Lady Gags make me face-punching angry, she also makes her own fist face-punching angry.  Look!  Her own fist wants to punch her in the face!  Maybe her fist read excerpts from her masturbatory, extraordinarily pretentious article in V Magazine and realized how annoying she was.

Ok, new rule.  No more reading Lady Gaga interviews.  Because I literally cannot read one with out wanting scratch my own eyeballs out of my head so I can’t read anymore.  This is why Lady Gags in on my “Celebs who make me face punching angry” list.

From her HBO special:

“I just gotta pick my shit up, gotta pick myself up, and I have to tell myself I’m a superstar every morning so that I can get through this day and be for my fans what they need for me to be … I cannot be destroyed and I will not be destroyed.”

This woman has the worst martyr/God complex I have seen in a long time.  She just keeps throwing that proverbial cross on her back and walking around like she has the weight of the world resting on her shoulders and if she doesn’t get up and do whatever it is that she does and thinks she provides to this world, her fans will all roll over and croak.

Nobody needs her.  No one’s world will end if she stops singing.  They will find another idol faster than you can snap your fingers.  You don’t mean that much to them.

Bitch please. Are you really trying to play the “I was a loser in high school and am still haunted by it” card? You’re 25 and an international pop star. High school is long gone.

Any body who achieves success wonders how they got so lucky and has moments of feeling like they’re not better than anyone else and probably shouldn’t get the awesome rewards that other people probably also deserve. Accept it. Things worked out awesome for you. Enjoy it while you can and STFU please.

Lady Gags on using the “R” word:

“I consider it part of my life’s work and music to push the boundaries of love and acceptance. My apologies for not speaking thoughtfully. To anyone that was hurt, please know that it was furiously unintentional. An honest mistake, requires honesty to make. Whether life’s disabilities, left you outcast bullied or teased, rejoice and love yourself today”

What the hell does “furiously unintentional” mean?  That doesn’t even make any sense.   And what about “An honest mistake, requires honesty to make”.  Can I get a translator here?

For once, can she not speak or behave like a normal human being?  Not everything needs to be artistic.  A simple “I am sorry, I made mistake” would have been sufficiant.  But no.  She needs to be pretentious even when “apologizing”.

Question.  If you are using an apology as another opportunity to promote yourself and your image…basically making it all about you….is the apology sincere?

Tanya: Answer: Nothing Lady Gaga says is sincere so I wouldn’t worry about the sincerity of her apology.

I’m less offended by her saying that something is “retarded” than I am by her outfit. And by her saying that she’s getting divine inspiration for her songs so to not like her songs is to say that you’re not down with God.

Lady Gaga is actually making me miss the days before we were all celebrity crazed and you could listen to music, watch a movie or watch TV without knowing all the personal lives and crazy antics of the actors and musicians. I would probably like Gaga’s music more if I didn’t know that she’s such a try-hard. I’d probably like Britney Spears more if listing to her music didn’t make me sad that she’s pretty much forced to work to pay off the people that have to take care of her. I might even like Two and a Half Men if I didn’t know that Charlie Sheen was paid millions of dollars an episode and that all that money goes to hookers and blow and child support. I’d maybe even like Katherine Heigle movies a bit more if I didn’t have to see her posing for cameras in terrible outfits everyday just trying to make it into the gossip mags.
