So.  Last week J-Lo and Marc Anthony announce their divorce.  At first, there was nothing smutty happening.  But of course, it’s J-Lo.  And she is the drama queen to end all drama queens.  We had to know that this divorce wasn’t going to go quietly.

This week Jen’s camp appears to be pushing hard to get your vote in the “Who Wins This Divorce” game that is constantly being played in Hollywood.

J-Lo’s camp is alleging that Marc was controlling, possessive, jealous of her career, and that he may or may not have cheated on her.  And to really stick it to Marc, someone “leaked” that Jen’s mom reached out to a special friend to get advice on her crumbling marriage…Ben Affleck.

Allegedly Ben responded, gave some advice, and wished her well.

Am I the only one giving J-Lo the side eye right now.  To me, if they haven’t kept in contact at all over the last 8 years, this seems desperate, pathetic.  And also really really mean.  Both to Marc and to Jen Garner.  Even if it’s true, is J-Lo such a manipulative, mean spirited bitch that she would intentionally leak this?  Apparently so.

I’m not 100% buying this story.  But it is still juicy enough to discuss.

Tanya: Her mom called Ben to get advice on her crumbling marriage? I call BS on that one. I have a feeling that the Affleck/Lopez clans severed all ties after the split. Especially since both parties have moved on and have families now.

JLo can’t do anything without making it extra smutty.

J-Lo and Marc Anthony have decided to call it quits.

Well, maybe I kind of get it.  J-Lo always upgrades when she is riding a popularity wave.

What?  You don’t think so?  Think about it for a bit.  Puff Daddy was having legal issues so she married Chris Judd.  Then she upgraded to Ben Affleck when Chris Judd got boring.  Then she married Marc Anthony.  Since she is all famous again because of American Idol she is looking for someone new.

This will be her third divorce.

Tanya: Wow. I did not see that coming. Wonder if there’s a good gossipy story to go with it?

Did you watch the Grammy Awards last night? Overall it was pretty unmemorable but JLo & Marc Anthony added a little spark to it when she pretty much de-nutted him and gave him the best bitchface ever on live TV. I’m sure the interaction between them was meant to be cute and funny but it looked like she pretty much calls the shot and is a diva at home too.

Marc Anthony usually looks like Skeletor to me, but last night he looked like some kind of rodent man. Kind of a step up because at least now he looks like a living being, but it’s actually more of a step down.

Is it just me or does Jennifer Lopez look….amazing?  Like, better than she has looked in years.

And is it just me again or does she look like she maybe had some work done?

Because really, that face, its flawless.  And its a little creepy.  Is that why Marc Anthony looks like Skeletor?  Because J-Lo is sucking all his life force out of him?

PS.  FYI.  My spell check catches when “Skeletor” is spelled wrong.  Weird.

Tanya: She does look great, but I don’t think it’s the result of any work. At least not any new work. She just looks like she got a good nights sleep.

Cutest celebrity baby? My vote is now with Emme. We don’t see many pics of Jennifer Lopez & Marc Anthony’s twins so you don’t realize how absolutely adorable they are, but the family got papped out in France today and it looks like they were having a great time.

Stacey: So cute!  I saw these pictures yesterday and couldn’t get over her little face.  She looks like she is going to be trouble though.  Look at those eyes.  There is a little diva in there.  We have a little E-Lo on our hands.

I love animal print.  I really do.  But I totally can’t wear it.  Its hard to wear well.  Because the prints are usually really busy and thus make you look larger or lumpier in areas that aren’t large or lumpy.  And this is on people who are thin!  So it is extra hard to wear it you are curvy like Jennifer Lopez.  But she totally rocks it.  I am so jealous.

While I don’t find J-Lo “hot” I do think she is beautiful.  And Marc Anthony is, like, below average.  And standing next to her he looks extra ugly.  Sorry to be mean, but its true.  People who aren’t really beautiful shouldn’t stand beside really beautiful people.  It just accentuates their ugliness.

Here’s Jenny from the Block, an opened shirt Marc Anthony, and the twins headed to Easter dinner (those twins look pissed, hey?) and it looks like JLo is bringing something along with her. Do you think she made it? I doubt it. My guess is that she and Marc Anthony were too busy working on their outfits that they got the “help” to do it.

Marc: Two buttons undone or three… two… three… two is sexy… three is so sexy it might be too hot for Easter… two… three… ahhhh that is better! Four buttons undone! Si!

Stacey: Marc Anthony is creepy.  And his unbuttoned shirt makes him even creepier.  Maybe that’s why the twins are so pissed; they have a greaseball for a dad.

The Grammy Awards bring together the best in music, but apparently this year they are also bringing out the worst outfits I’ve ever seen. For once, Britney Spears’ trashy outfit it totally appropriate.

Stacey: I will have to disagree with you on Imogen Heap, but thats just cause it is Imogen.  She rocks.  But everything else?  Blah.  Especially Lady Gaga.  Does she realize she looks like a tranny?  Or is that the point?

Jennifer Lopez is in In Style talking about “fame, family and turning 40″. I am not a fan of J-Lo.  I never have been.  I think what turned me off was all of her failed marriages.  Being married 3 times?  Come on!  I understand that people change but divorcing someone after 11 months and 9 months?  That’s fickle and silly.  But I guess the third time is the charm.  Her and Marc Anthony have been married almost 5 years and are parents to twins.  So what has J-Lo learned about marriage?

“I’m still figuring it out as I go along,” …. “How do two totally different people come together and make one life and say they’ll do it forever and ever? I mean, I’ve tried it. This is my third time. I don’t even think I tried in my other marriages, which was immature and not knowing better. … I believe that in life you learn through experience. I’m old enough to know now that relationships take work. That it’s not an easy thing”

Glad she has finally realized that everything isn’t easy, especially marriage.  Its hard work and anyone who says differently is LYING!!!!  Maybe this is a J-Lo I can get on board with…

Tanya: I’m suprised she didn’t know relationships needed work. I’m going to go out on a limb here and guess that she was raised with lots of fairy tales – Prince Charming falls in love with the poor girl (girl from the ‘block’) and whisks her away to his palace where they all live happily ever after.
