Well, last night was the Met Gala and what that means is that everyone and their dogs were attending wearing their bold and/or beautiful best.  Since the pictures are giving me a big, fat, case of the yawnies, rather than posting a million posts about each individual dress, I just decided to pick a couple high lights and low lights.

Highlights?  I love Christina Ricci’s dress; I think she looks amazing.  And I know you guys don’t like Maggie Gyllenhaal but I do so I included her.  And I loved Emma Stone’s dress and Michelle Williams too.  And Sofia Vergara because, wek

Lowlights?  Brooklyn Decker is straight up offending me with her brightly colored, flat dress.  Seriously, this color is horrible and makes her look like she has zero shape.  And Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen.  Need I say more?

Tanya: I agree with you on all except Christina Ricci – her dress accentuates her tiny waist a little too much and makes her body look incredibly weird.

Some others I’ve come across and wanted to add: Beyonce’s dress was so tight she had to be carried up the stairs, Kate Hudson decided to accentuate her ass to make her baby bump look smaller (?), Miranda Kerr wins the “Stripper Wedding Gown” award this year (there’s a dress that fits this category every year), Mary Kate Olson in her Mrs Clause dress and Demi Moore wearing the outfit that she probably wore to watch the Royal Wedding because she wasn’t invited.

While I no longer care about who in Hollywood is pregnant, one thing I do care about and actually get really excited about is the baby names.  Love finding out baby names!

Two were reveled in the last couple of days.

1.  Miranda Kerr and Orlando Bloom’s baby:  Flynn Bloom.

2. Owen Wilson and Jade Duell : Robert Ford Wilson

Thoughts?

I love love love Robert Ford.  Traditional and strong.

Flynn?  While it’s cute, it is something I would probably name my dog.  Plus, Orlando has been compared to Errol Flynn so I don’t know.  It just reminds me too much of swashbuckling and that is pretty much all I think of if and/or when I ever think of Orlando Bloom.

Tanya: Robert Ford is a great name. I’m also all for the traditional and strong names. But I also like Flynn. And I like that Miranda Kerr and Orlando Bloom aren’t hyphenating the name (that we know of yet) because “Kerr-Bloom” is a lot like “Ka-Boom!” which is kinda cool but mostly just hilarious and asking to be made fun of.

Not one to be left out of the growing number of people having babies, Kate Hudson has announced that she is also pregnant. Kate Hudson and Matt Bellamy have been dating for about 9 months.

Miranda Kerr and Orlando Bloom had a 10 pound baby boy.

John Travolta & Kelly Preston show off baby Benjamin, who is already totally over the photo shoot.

I think at this point the only celebs who aren’t pregnant are Jennifer Aniston and Jessica Simpson.

Miranda Kerr and Orlando Bloom when to a Pink Floyd concert last night in LA. I’m jealous. How come Pink Floyd isn’t coming to Calgary?

Stacey: I saw Roger Waters a few years ago in Calgary.  He did the entire Dark Side of the Moon.  It.  Was.  Amazing.  But that was before the Saddledome installed their ridiculously large Jumbotron that hangs way to low and would never allow for Roger’s stage set up, especially for The Wall, which he is touring.  That is actually why Calgary misses so many artists; because the Dome is too outdated and now has this piece of equipment that doesn’t allow for artists to do their full stage show.  Lame sauce.

My parents and brother went down to Tampa Bay to see this concert.  They said it was the greatest concert they had ever been to.  And that is saying something because my mom saw the original Pink Floyd line up 3 times back in the day. Roger Waters is a genius.

At least we know that this baby is getting a proper musical upbringing right from the start.  My mom said she was pregnant with me when she saw The Wall when it came out in theatres.  Great music will be passed down.  And hopefully bands like Nickelback will just fade away into oblivion.

Orlando Bloom & Miranda Kerr headed to a fashion show. Miranda is 5 months pregnant and still walked the catwalk looking pretty cute in an outfit that I saw on another site but didn’t save the picture for (it wasn’t that great of an outfit, it was kinda like a hard plastic mumu).

What do you think Miranda calls Orlando for short? Or? Orly? Lando? I’m going to go with Lando.

Stacey: I am going with Oly.  Because calling him Lando would associate him with Lando Calrission.  And he isn’t cool enough for that.

Miranda Kerr & Orlando Bloom at the airport and it looks like Miranda Kerr is really starting to show. I don’t know what it is but I love to see a growing belly. Maybe because growing bellies = healthy pregnancies? Growing bellies are awesome, but only to a point. Once it’s a huge belly it creeps me out. Like they’re going to burst open like a scene from Alien.

Stacey: Lol.  We should just rename our site ReasonsNotToGetPregnent.com.

I agree though.  Its so cute.  To a point.  Then they just look uncomfortable and scary.

Tanya: I’m actually surprised that website doesn’t exist.

Who called it? Stacey and Us Weekly did. While I was holding out that people get married because they love each other, Stacey was totally right that Miranda Kerr & Orlando Bloom got married because they have a baby on the way.

I guess they can still love each other too <3

I guess the reason that Miranda Kerr and Orlando Bloom decided to get married so quickly isn’t because they are in love, its because she is knocked up according to Us Weekly.  Shotgun wedding!

Ok, maybe they are in love too, but maybe she also just wanted to get married before she got big and round and still wanted to fit in a designer dress.  Although, I am sure like every other model (I am looking at you, Gisele and Heidi) she will snap back into shape in no time.

Tanya: I don’t believe this yet – according to the gossip mags pretty much any time someone gets married it’s “because they have baby on the way” but then it turns out to be all speculation. Us Weekly, I’m giving you the side-eye on this one.

Miranda Kerr & Orlando Bloom have tied the knot and are already off enjoying their honeymoon. Word is that it was a small intimate ceremony.

Stacey: Lol.  I was thinking while I was reading this that they must have heard your urging to get married.  Good for them.  Orlando must be excited as this is the only relevant thing he has done in a while.
