Is it just me or do you see a little Posh Spice going on here? I see a LOT of Posh Spice going on. So much that I could see Jessica Alba with her own set of concrete tits in a year or two (note to Alba: Posh took hers out because it was ruining her chances of being taken seriously in the fashion world. You might want to just skip that step). I could also see her down to 60lbs or whatever it is that Posh weighs.

Unfortunately, becoming Posh Spice probably won’t save Jessica Alba’s career. She should stick to her “athletic” hotness because that is really the only thing she has going for her. Maybe she’ll still be able to get some roles as the “hot chick” that way.

Stacey: Ya.  I love the dress but the hair is a little…old?  But she does seem sooooo skinny.  Remember Jessica in Sin City?  She was much juicier then.  And much more attractive I think.  But, she doesn’t want to be the bombshell.  She wants to be taken seriously as an actress.  We all have dreams…

Beyonce & Jay-Z were top of the list last year also, but with a combined income of $162M. I believe they both toured and had albums this year (Jay’s tour might be after the June cut off though) which is probably why they’re WAY higher earners than the others on the list. Harrison Ford had the new Indiana Jones film come out and I think Calista Flockhart has a TV show?

Suddenly I feel very, very poor. We’ll never be able to affort yachts and Maybach’s on our salaries!!

Stacey: Right before I read this, I was reading some articles on CNN about the earthquake in Haiti and how millions of people are now homeless and hungry and have no place to go.  In perspective, it makes this whole list seem so shallow and silly.  Juxtaposition, you got me again.

But really, I wish I were as rich as J and B.  Then I could buy a house made of chocolate (odd thing to want, I know, but its a fantasy of mine really).

A “casual” Posh Spice & the Beckham Boys catch the LA Lakers game. I like this look for Posh. Some wavy hair, a bit of a slouch, looking like she isn’t trying to be on a magazine cover. Look how high the shoes are though. Her ankles must be killing her!

Stacey: I do like this look on her.  Definitely softens her face up. Her children are so gorgeous.

Victoria Beckham took the boys out for dinner last night to celebrate Romeo’s 7th birthday.

Cruz was dressed as an astronaut (love it!), Romeo brought his stuffed animals, and Brooklyn walked several feet ahead of them probably REALLY embarrassed by his brothers – wouldn’t you be if you were that age?

Stacey: Ok, seriously, where do we get an astronaut suit?  That is AWESOME!  And how handsome is Romeo.  Definitely the cutest of the bunch.  I love his little hat.

How about Posh though?  Gagillions of dollars, beautiful children, an incredibly sexy husband…some people have everything, don’t they?  Everything except for a Vogue Cover, I suppose.

Tanya: If I were her I wouldn’t even care that much about a Vogue cover. Sometimes you just have to be happy with what you have – and from the outside looking in, it looks like she’s got it pretty good

As we posted a few days ago, David & Victoria Beckham are off on a vacation celebrating their 10th wedding anniversary. Now some paps have found them in Seychelles and has snapped some pics. Check out the tighty whities!!

Stacey: I am fairly certain that Becks is the only man in this world who could make a tight white speedo look good.  And he makes it look good.

Stacey: Gawd, these two are so hot together.  And 10 years is a long time to be married by Hollywood standards.  Good for them.  I wish more people would take marriage as seriously as they do….

A mom, but not a "soccer mom"

Miley Cyrus wants to be a soccer mom. Like Victoria Beckham. “In 10 years, I’d like to be a soccer mom, like Victoria. … I’ll be there in my heels cheering on my kids. ‘Go, team, go.’ But I’ll have no idea what’s going on.”

If being a soccer mom meant being like Victoria Beckham I don’t think I’d mind being a soccer mom either. But alas, being a soccer mom is one of those terrifying things most young ladies don’t want and is a derogatory term I use with my friends. It is the exact opposite of Victoria Beckham.

What is a soccer mom? A soccer mom is a middle age woman who LIVES for her kids and pushes them to succeed in everything. She spends her days organizing bake sales, her evenings driving the van around to her kids soccer practices, and her weekends yelling insults at refs who must not have eyes or brains for not calling a foul on the other teams kids. By the time her kids are 8 she has made them, and other kids, cry because they are missing shots. The common uniform for a hockey mom is a pair of sweats, a North Face vest, a messy bob, some sunglasses and athletic sneakers.

Here in Canada we have more hockey moms than soccer moms, but it’s the same story. Lululemon pants a hoodie, a Kate Gosselin haircut, driving a Yukon/Escalade and will rip you a new one if you interfere with their kids success.

Lily Allen was closer with “WAG” when describing Victoria Beckham. She’s more of a trophy wife than a soccer mom. So Miley, next interview please use the term “trophy wife” (or something along those lines) to describe Mrs Beckham as I’m sure she will not be happy being called a soccer mom.

Stacey: In fact, I might go as far as calling David Beckham her trophy husband.  Posh is the farthest thing from a soccer mom that you could get.  Just because her kids play the sport doesn’t make her one of those women. 

I loved your vivid imagery, Tanya.  In fact, it was so realistic, I could actually see this “mom” you are speaking of.  *shudder*

While Eva Longoria wears a sweatsuitto catch her flight, Mrs Beckham wear her pilot cap.

Is she saving airfare by carrying her kids in the bag instead of getting them seats? Whatever. That bag probably cost more than air tickets for the boys.

Maybe she didn’t want to check any luggage so she just took that bag as a carry on. Last flight I went on they wouldn’t allow bags that big in carry on. I’d be afraid of it getting dirty and scuffed when I neatly tuck it under the seat in front of me. She could probably fit under the seat with more ease than that bag could.

Stacey: I love Posh, I really do.  I love the fact that THIS is what she wears on a plan.  Does she think she is co-captain?  And I love how impossibly skinny she is because she is so unapologetic about it.  You know how all skinny actresses, like Cameron Diaz for example, all say “Oh, I eat hamburgers every day and am never concerned with what I eat because the key to weight loss is happiness blah blah blaaaaah….” I remember seeing her being interviewed by Barbra Walters (I think) and she was asked if she ever indulges.  Victoria flat out, with out even blinking, replied with an emphatic “No. Never”.  And I believe her.  Isn’t it so refreshing to hear the truth?  Plus her husband is hot and I am shallow so am easily impressed by looks.
