I don’t watch The Hills so I’m not sure how true to form this video is, but I do read celebrity gossip and I know that Audrina Patridge is always staring at the ceiling, Heidi Montag is made of plastic and Spencer Pratt a little bit psycho so to me this video is 100% dead on.

Stacey: Tee hee.  That was funny.

On a side note, I got sucked into the season opener of The Hills last night.  Are you really that surprised?  Please!  I love it.  And hate myself for it.

Anyways, Heidi debuted her new look.  And rather than it being kinda funny, it was mostly just kind of sad.  To see her mom’s reaction (tears) broke my heart.  Heidi blamed her unhappiness with her appearance on living in Hollywood. Hollywood may have magnified those insecurities, but they are deep inside.  Maybe she should have looked there rather than at the external factors?

I don’t watch American Idol so I don’t really care who is judging it but I must say I was surprised to hear that Ellen DeGeneres is replacing Paula Abdul as the 4th judge this season. What music experience does she have aside from the time she went carolling with Britney Spears? (photo above)

And for you fans of her day show – it’s staying on the air: “I’m going to have a day job and a night job”. lol, both Stacey & I have had the pleasure of having a day and night job and we wish you the best of luck Ellen. Hopefully your jobs are a little less demanding than ours

Stacey: Well, if my day or night job paid me millions of dollars, like I am sure both of Ellen’s are, I would have no issues working 2 jobs.  But, alas, we are not that fortunate.

As for Ellen being on AI.  This is why I hated these shows when I had cable.  Ellen is saying she is just like everyone else watching. People think that just because they have eyes and ears that makes them qualified to judge something, like AI or So You Think You Can Dance.  Its just a big popularity contest.  The crowd boos the judges after they give an honest and accurate judgement on a contestant…guess what people, sometimes they were bad…sometimes they do actually suck!  Just because they are likable does not make them good singers or dancers.

But Ellen will replace the “nice” factor that Paula had.  

I still won’t be watching.  

The man in the photo above is Ryan Jenkins. Sadly, Ryan is a Calgary boy who was trying to make it on the VH1 reality show Megan Wants a Millionaire but is now famous for all the wrong reasons (sorry if you were a fan of that show but VH1 has now pulled it because Jenkins isn’t the type of guy they want to be associated with).

Jenkins’ ex-wife was found killed, mutilated and stuffed in a suitcase which was left in a dumpster (sans her fingers and teeth). Orange County authorities have charged Jenkins with murder and have a warrant out for his arrest – but they can’t find him.

Authorities have been able to track Jenkins’ trail to Point Roberts, Washington which is connected to Delta, BC. Jenkins’ is from a pretty wealthy family here in Calgary and authorities believe he is likely trying to get to Calgary where he has some friends and family and he might even try to get daddy’s private plane to fly himself (did I mention he’s also a pilot?) to Honduras where his father was the architect on a fancy hotel.
