Sorry for the back-to-back Harper posts but I couldn’t resist. How cute is Romeo Beckham as he gets to hold Harper? Answer: too cute.

Stacey: Look at the big smile!  He totally loves his little sis.  That girl is going to be s-p-o-i-l-e-d.  And I love how Mommy Posh looks like she is giving him the “be careful with her! Make sure you are holder her head!” warning that all mommies give.  She looks amazing too.

David Beckham took his boys Brooklyn, Romeo & Cruz to the beach for some fun in the sand. They did some boogie boarding and buried Cruz in the sand.

Stacey: Could you imagine being at the beach and seeing David Beckham walk up?  I think I would pee my pants on the spot.  Seriously.

I’m supposed to be hiking around the crater of a volcano right now, but that can wait – Victoria & David Beckham have announced that they are expecting their fourth child this summer!!!

I can honestly say I did NOT expect this. Vicky has been taking care of her body a little more lately but I thought maybe she had just come to her senses, not that she was planning for a pregnancy. If she has another boy you know it’s going to be super cute. But they’re probably hoping for a girl. Four boys might be a little intense and a girl might be a nice change – but then again, they know what they’re getting into with another boy.

Congrats to the Beckham clan!!

Stacey: Lets all collectively hope and send “girly” vibes to Posh.  She needs a girl.  And could you imagine how unbelievably cute Becks would be with a little girl?  Please.  The quiver factor would be amped up ten fold.

And the continuation or the uglification of David Beckham continues.

Here is a photo of the Beckhams out at some award show for the BBC.  This photo could be submitted to Awkward Family Photos because it is rather…awkward.

Its like the pretty, rich lady as adopted a family of less fortunates and their hobo uncle, dressed them up and took them out to parade them around town to show how considerate and giving she is.

I can’t imagine Posh being much fun.  She always seems so concerned with posing properly.  Even with her own children she just seems so rigid and cold.  Maybe that’s just how she is in public though and behind closed doors she is actually a crazy fun mom who wears sweat pants and head bands and gets all dirty and plays sports and knows all the names of all the dinosaurs….but some how I doubt it.

Tanya: If David Beckham’s goal was to become un-hot he has totally succeeded. Congrats?

For the record this is BBC’s Sports Personality of the Year event where David Beckham was awarded with the Lifetime Achievement Award. In his thank-you speech David said the following:

“Of course, I want to thank my wife and my children. Not only has she given me three amazing boys but the support she’s given me and she is truly and inspiration for me every single day. So Victoria, Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz – thank you.”

Awwwwww! He might not be hot anymore, but these two are still one of my favourite couples. And favourite families.

We’ve noted it before, but Brooklyn is so over this. Family appearances? Urgh. That’s so totally lame.

When Stacey posted pics of David Beckham and Cristiano Ronaldo yesterday it struck me that we need more Becks on this site. So, to remedy our Becks-lessness here’s Daddy Becks with the boys at the Teen Choice Awards last night.

Mmmmm.  Daddy Becks.  My favorite Becks.  Becks is never sexier than when he is with his kids.  As most of you know, I don’t plan on having kids, but seeing David with his kids makes my ovaries ache a little.

When Tanya and I were deciding which families we wanted to be adopted by I considered the Beckhams.  Because they are super rich, super famous, super gorgeo, and super cool.  And I totally love Posh and how outrageous she is.  Like, I love the fact that when she says she never indulges in sweets or junk food, she really never indulges.  She would rather be a size 00 than eat chocolate cake.  However, I felt it best that my adopted father not be somebody who occasionally appears on my Freebie Five.  Because that would be icky and weird like Woody Allen and his wife/adopted daughter.  Plus, I don’t really need Posh judging me when I want to eat chocolate cake.  Maybe I could make friends with the Beckham boys and they can come for play dates with us and the Jolie Pitts?

PS.  I love how Brooklyn can’t seem to get far enough away from his dad.  And how Romeo is totally over being kissed by Daddy.  I guess even when you are Posh and Becks, at some point, you become uncool to your kids.

Tanya: It’s so funny to see the Beckham boys shy away from their parents. All the times we think “wouldn’t it be awesome to have famous parents?” should be answered with these photos. Kids who are still embarrassed by their parents display of affection. It’d actually be worse for these guys because all the kids at school would see pics of your mom holding your hand and your dad giving you a kiss. Mortifying!
