Who styled her like this and why do they hate her so much?

Tanya: *cringe* When you’re a celeb and you have a stylist can you just tell them “uh, no thanks” or do you have to go with what they give you? SJP should pat that hair down a little bit and… I don’t even know what to do with that dress. Make it a mini?

Sarah Jessica Parker and her family hit up the park yesterday. SJP is super skinny, we all know this, but doesn’t she look completely emaciated next to these kids? Like if you took off the baggy sweater she might be the same size as them? It weirds me out. If I were one of her kids I’d probably end up with some sort of body complex and an eating disorder.

Stacey: She always looks like she is starving.  Better hide those plump little babies…she might eat one if she gets any more hungry looking.

"Let's go heckle your wife!"

I don’t know if this is true, but it is my favourite story of the day:

This Valentine’s Day, Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick both went to the restaurant Odeon in New York’s TriBeCa neighborhood. However, the married couple didn’t come to the restaurant together. SJP was seated with an unidentified man believed to be her date for the night – “She was feeding him food off of her plate,” said a source, “and they looked pretty intimate to me.” As for Parker’s husband? Broderick walked in with friends Casey Affleck and Ben Stiller and sat at a table where they could view Parker easily. As the group kept ordering drinks, Stiller loudly narrated everything that Parker and her date were doing at their table while Parker appeared mortified. According to fellow restaurant patrons, who overheard everything Stiller was saying in the small space, the guys knew that Parker would be there that night and came to Odeon with the sole purpose of embarrassing her. There are always rumours that Sarah Jessica Parker & Matthew Broderick aren’t solid, but to go on a date on Valentine’s Day with another man is low. It’s also pretty low to call your buddies to go heckle your wife on her date. This is almost too good to be true which means that it probably is.

I agree with most of the “Least Desirable” spouses list but the “Most Desirable” ones are a bit off. Kate Moss & Gisele Bundchen?? Kate Moss is about as desirable and Pete Doherty and Gisele Bundchen sounds like she takes away your balls once she gets the ring.  As for the men, well, we see the problems right off the bat: Prince Harry and Justin Bieber. Bieber’s balls haven’t dropped yet and Prince Harry would probably be one of those “you’re probably going to see something in the tabloids that looks really bad, but it totally isn’t what it looks like” kinda guys. He’d be fun to date, but I’d say not a desirable husband.

Stacey: Clearly this poll came from somewhere overseas and was filled out by Brits and 12 year olds.  Because people like Kate Moss and Cheryl Cole would not even hit the radar over here.  Ok, Russell Brand over Brad Pitt?  That just doesn’t seem right.

I guess that one day where Sara Jessica Parker looked good was just by chance because here she is out at a fashion show dressed like she’s…just been f*cked?  Seriously.  What is this look?  The hair all messy, the dress barely hanging on.  I think someone is trying to make us think that her husband is actually attracted to her…

Tanya: Yeeeeah, I’m not getting the “JBF” vibe here, I’m getting more of the “lazy-hobo-cat-lady” vibe. Seriously, she’s wearing Old Mother Hubbard’s apron as a dress and didn’t bother to brush her hair.

Stacey: Oh yes.  I change my mind to what you said, Tan.  Old Mother Hubbard for sure.

I normally think that Sarah Jessica Parker is less than attractive.  In fact, I think she usually looks like a malnourished horse/witch in high/ugly fashion.  But she looks fantastic in this picture.  Fresh, healthy, tanned.  And I am kinda jealous of that awesome outfit she is wearing.  Love the jacket.

And, for once, Matthew Broderick doesn’t look miserable to be with her.  He is even ….*gasp*… smiling!  And his maybe fancy vibe is dialled down in this picture too.

Its a good day to be SJP apparently…for once.

Tanya: I’m excited to see these two out together and to look happy about it. As much as I like that they don’t just turn on the sweetness for the cameras and show us a little sour sometimes, it makes me wonder if they’re happy together. Sure it’s incredibly unfair to judge the state of marriage of a couple I do not know and have only seen pictures of, but I do it. And you do too.

First off: Sarah Jessica Parker and Kristin Davis look fantastic. I even like the hat and if I was the height of SJP I might be able to wear it, but I am probably about a foot taller than her and the logistics of it just wouldn’t pan out.

But Kim Cattrall & Cynthia Nixon didn’t do so well tonight. In this picture Kim Cattrall’s dress looks like it’s at an OK height, but some of the other pics I saw look like it’s almost down to her waist, which is probably where who boobs are/should be so I guess it’s alright… it just looks weird. Too much skin showing up top. And as much as I adore Cynthia Nixon (did you read her article in Advocate this month? Loved it.) and normally she looks so beautiful and confident, but this dress and these hair extensions are killing it. She could have worn anything and the extensions would have killed it, but this dress is unflattering and (it might be a shadow) she kinda looks like she peed a little bit.

In other SATC2 news, I was watching The View this morning at the gym and they were showing you how to make “affordable” outfits similar to the ones in the movie. My favourite:

“The Carrie look. The outfit in the movie cost over $11,000, but it can be yours for only $638!” $11,000 to $638 sound s like a really great deal but seriously people, it’s not a great outfit! It’s a t-shirt with a shrug and a poufy skirt. If you are seriously considering this outfit please call me. We’ll find you a t-shirt, a shrug, and a poufy skirt and you can look like an idiot for WAY less. Then you can donate the remaining $600 (or $10,950 if you were going for the expensive version) to a charity that will put shoes on the feet of kids who don’t have any. Just sayin’.

Stacey: This Family Guy video is pretty much how I feel about SATC and anything SATC related.

Have you ever been to a hat party? Everyone who comes has to wear a hat and usually they’re pretty ridiculous which leads to a lot of really funny moments. I’m not sure if that’s where Sarah Jessica Parker & Matthew Broderick were headed when these photos were taken, but this photo becomes a little more normal if you pretend it is.

Stacey: You know, I may think that if they were just a little sillier.  But these two are two serious to be kidding.  These are really their hats.

Did you watch last night?  I watched.  So I figured I would do a quick round up for you peeps.  However, I won’t be doing an award by award recap so if you want to see all the winners, click here.

What did I think?  Firstly, boring!  Like, nothing about this Oscar’s stood out.  Except for maybe Neil Patrick Harris (above).

Other than that, dresses were boring, speeches were boring, Steve Martin and Alec Baldwin were really underwhelming…so over all for me, thumbs down.

Best parts for me were Sandra Bullock winning for Best Actress.  Seriously, that girl is so amazing.  Second, Ryan Bingham, won for best original song, got up on stage and thanked his wife saying “I love you more than rainbows, baby”.  It sounds cheesy, but in his sexy southern drawl, I almost died.  I can’t find the video otherwise I would show you.  And they were making fun of it on the radio this morning, but I don’t care.  I wish someone loved me more than rainbows.

Favorite dresses, Jennifer Lopez and Maggie Gyllenhaal.  I know you guys don’t like Maggie but I love her and her dress.

Least favorite, Sarah Jessica Parker and Zoe Saldana.

Hottest guys…Jeff Bridges and Robert Downey Jr.

Most annoying moments.  Ben Stiller in Avatar get up trying to be funny but mostly just being a jack ass.  And the crazy red headed woman who hijacked the Short Film winners speech.

So, that’s it, peeps.  I won’t be going into much more depth than that.  Because, really, I am sure you will be sick of all the coverage by the end of the day and you may want to come her for reprieve.

Tanya: Go Sandra! She is now the first actress to win a Razzie for worst actress and an Oscar for best actress in the same year. As for the fashion: I like all of the ladies’ dresses that you posted. Even RDJ’s wife’s (her name slips me at the moment). Hottest guys Jeff Bridges & RDJ?? I don’t know about that. I’m going to have to look at some other photos.

Stacey: Ya, but all the other guys that were there were guys like Ryan Reynolds and Gerard Butler.

I liked Sam Worthington but I couldn’t find a great picture of him.  And Keanu Reeves but he was only on there for a moment.

And whats wrong with RDJ?  He was on our Hottest Guys list…
