Here is my adopted family, The Affleck-Garners, out and about looking picture perfect.  Look at little Seraphina.  She is so precious.  She might even be cuter than her sister Violet was at that age.  Can’t wait to see these two all grown up!

Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck took Violet and Seraphina to the Manhattan Museum yesterday. It seems like we’ve seen Ben Affleck out with the family a little more lately, probably due to the fact that he just finished The Town and has some more time on his hands. Or because The Town is going to come out soon and nothing drums up awareness for your film like stepping out with your hot wife and adorable daughters.

Jennifer Garner, Ben Affleck and their kids Violet & Seraphina went to a soccer camp and then to the park yesterday.

Stacey, do you find it gross to see your new parents kissing? I think it’s cute that they’re giving us a public display of affection, but I still wonder how much of it is because of the cameras and how much is in spite of the cameras.

Stacey: Eeeeewwwwwwww.  Mom, Dad, stop!  You are embarrassing me!

The other day, Tanya asked the Smith’s to adopt her because, well, they are pretty freakin’ cool.  If you can put up with a llittle Scientology or Tom Cruise, they would be a pretty sweet family to belong to.  No word yet from their camp but I am keeping my fingers crossed for you, Tan!

Me, on the other hand, if I could be adopted by any family, I would want it to be the Affleck/Garners.  Why?  Well, while daddy Ben is a huge movie star he likes to stay out of the spotlight but be highly involved in political causes that are important to him, mommy Jen seems to spend so much time with her kids going to the park, taking them to and from school; real hands on.  And because of the girls, Violet and Seraphina. They are so SO gorgeous.  Look at those faces!  Ben and Jen make the most beautiful babies.  Which doesn’t really affect me all that much but who wants to hang out with ugly babies?  Not me.  Plus, maybe I would get a cool new name like theirs.

Ben and Jen, are you looking for a new family member?

Tanya: My fingers are crossed for you Stace LaLa, and if they DO adopt you can I come over for play dates? I’d love to go hang out at the park with you guys.

Jennifer Garner and Seraphina Affleck were out for a stroll yesterday and it looks like Seraphina is still getting the hang of walking. So cute!!

Stacey: Gosh these two make beautiful babies. 

And I guess these pictures can put those pregnacy rumors to bed. There is no baby bump there!

I’d like to give a public apology to Jennifer Garner who I recently put on “bump watch”. We here at ISS don’t generally do that because it’s equivalent to saying “you’ve been looking pretty fat lately” which is just rude. IMO even ruder than calling Miley Cyrus a ho when she dresses and acts like she works a pole at the strip club.

Today Jennifer Garner’s rep commented on the speculation, saying “Jennifer is definitely not pregnant”. Which makes me feel like an ass.

I’m sorry Jen. Please forgive me.

Stacey: While I will agree that we shouldn’t put the cart before the horse, celebs and their agents have lied before.  Remember when Jen Aniston and Brad Pitt’s rep said they weren’t breaking up?  We all know how that turned out.  As much as I hate baby bump watch, I think she may be pregnant just not read to tell people.

And you are right, calling Miley a ho wasn’t nice.  Even if it is true.

I’m not one to call out “BABY BUMP!” when someone is looking a little bloated, mostly because if I was a celeb I’d always be on bump watch , but I’ve gotta say that Jennifer Garner is looking suspiciously large for someone so petite. Wasn’t she getting a hard time about being too skinny just a few months ago?

Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner make the most adorable kids and both Violet and Seraphina always look so happy so if it’s true, congrats!!! If not, well, maybe Jennifer Garner just ate an extra croissant to shut Julia Roberts up.

Stacey: I hate bump watch too because it is extremelyoffensive, but i have got to say that I think Jen may be knocked up.  Its just the way the bump looks in the top picture.  Its all up front and when you get chubby it usually goes all around, like an inner tube.  Ya for more Affleck babies!  They are the cutest. 

I don’t blame Jen if she is preggo.  If I were procreating with Ben Affleck, I would be pregnant all the time too.

Jennifer Garner took Seraphina and Violet to the market for some groceries the other day and check out the red wagon! Violet & Seraphina are so cute.

Jennifer Garner has gotten some slack about the loss of her baby fat (most notably from Julia Roberts) but I’m going to come to her defense here. Carry two kids like this? That is a lot of work. Kids are heavy. I have a niece who is Violet’s age, and probably 5-10 pounds lighter, who wants to be carried all the time and she gets heavy really fast. My arms, abs, legs, back, pretty much everything, feels the burn after carrying her about 3 blocks. That’s when I have to hand her off to someone else.

So, if you want a good workout carry some kids. They don’t hold on (unless they’re holding around your neck, like Violet here, then they hold on too tight and cut off your air supply), they squirm and you have to continue to hold them when they kick you, elbow you and put their hands in your ears/eyes/mouth. It’s tough work and will definitely help you lose fat and build muscle.

I’m going to come out and say it: Julia Roberts is a bit of a bitch. Don’t hate me for hating on America’s Sweetheart!

Julia Roberts & Jennifer Garner are both in that movie Valentine’s Day (which stars pretty much everyone) and at a recent press junket during interviews Julia said this:

“You are quite slim.”

Jen: “I just finished nursing. I’ll soon plump up again.”

Julia: “We’ll stay tuned for that.”

Is it just me or was that incredibly rude? They started filming this movie shortly after Jen had Seraphina so she was still carrying her baby weight. Now it’s been over a year and she’s lost it (the pic above was taken yesterday, February 4th). Calling her out on it in front of the media? Low.

I don’t think I’d want to be friends with Julia

The irony of all this is that Julia Roberts isn’t carrying much extra weight around either. Sure she dresses frumpy which tends to make her look a little heavier, but she’s a lean woman herself.

Stacey: America’s sweetheart my ass!  This woman seems like she is a giant bitch.  While I think Jennifer Garner is boring, at least she is nice.  As Julia gets older, she seems to get meaner.  Maybe stealing husbands and birthing babies isn’t agreeing with her.  Hey lady! Just because you have an Oscar doesn’t make you better than everyone else! When was the last time you did anything relevant?  Keep in mind, you are in this crappy movie too!  Don’t take your self hate out on Jen just because she is younger and thinner than you.
