The husband and I were talking the other day about Snoop Dogg and how he’s on the cusp of being washed up. He’s still putting out albums, and he still has a bit of street cred, but his music is becoming so nonsensical and cheesy that it’s a little sad.

And then today this came out:

I’m sorry to say it but I think Snoop just crossed the line into wash-up. He had a great run, better than most, but watching this video was pretty sad and I think I just saw the last of his street cred get poured out onto the street like a bit of beer from a 40oz. I feel a little sorry for him. Not quite as sad as I feel for Coolio who just got a miss-spelled Insane Clown Posse tattoo, but close.

Stacey: I have always thought that Snoop was creepy.  He makes my skin crawl.  So if he is over, than I am happy

Adidas has some new (?) Star Wars shoes out and they look pretty sweet. And the commercial makes Adidas look cool again. To me at least. I might just have to pick up a pair of these to go with my Pink Floyd All Stars…

Stacey: If you search through the Adidas site, they also have some Darth Vader hoodies which have a cape and Storm Trooper shoes, which my hubby said he is going to buy.  I don’t think I will be able to go out in public with him any more.  Maybe with the shoes but not the Darth Vader cape.

For the record, I was totally uninterested in this commercial until Becks showed up.  Then I couldn’t get enough

Joe Jonas, Snoop Dogg & Miley Cyrus at the 2011 MTV Music Awards

Snoop Dogg was talking to the Sunyesterday and said he’d like to collaborate with Miley Cyrus and the Jonas Brothers to make a little “gansta pop”. Did he come up with this during his Wake ‘N Bake show?

Well Snoop, I think you’ll have to wait a few years for that. Parents wouldn’t like it which means Disney won’t go for it. The tween gravy train is pushing forward in full force and Disney would be idiots to try and change the route now. I’m a Snoop fan, but my 3 yr old niece is a huge Miley fan and sings her songs non-stop. The thought of her saying “It’s mutha f*ckin’ Miley, bitch” makes me cringe.

So let us save this unusual pairing for a few years. Miley will start to grow up (and hopefully stop sleeping in her parents’ bed), Disney will drop Hannah Montana, and girl is gonna need some money because daddy spent it all on highlights and motorbikes. Then this might happen.

Love the pic…love the idea more.  Snoop would scare the crap outta those Mickey Mousers…well, he scares me anyways.  I think its how tall and spindly he is…and the eyes…*shiver*.
