Alright, so it’s more like a “Naval uniform” but the idea is the same. Alexander Skarsgard is currently in Hawaii to film Battleshit (typo, but it stays) and is looking mighty fine in his uniform. I may harp on this movie for being a ridiculous idea, but I’m still going to see it. ASkars, Rihanna and Taylor Kitsch? If not a good movie, it’ll still be entertaining.

Stacey: The uniform thing doesn’t do it for me.  And neither does ASkars.  Do you think he would want to be in Hungry Hungry Hippos 3D?

Battleship. The game we all played as kids is getting remade into a movie with Rihanna (above), Alexander Skarsgard and Taylor Kitsch. ASkars & Kitsch are B-list actors (I’m being generous here, you may love them but they’ve both been in practically nothing), Rihanna has never been in a movie before, and Battleship is a seriously boring game. How is this going to be a good movie? I’ve heard they have a HUGE budget for this as well which is bad because it’s probably going to be a flop.

Instead of making a movie about Battleship they should make a movie about some other board games. Specifically: Hungry, Hungry Hippos. Crazed hippos running throughout the savanna crushing and eating people because they’re so hungry, hungry? I think it would be a hit.

Stacey: I am confused by this as well.  Because they are obviously relying on the nostalgic feeling it will give some people, because this was a popular game and still is (you can get an electronic one now so people can’t cheat), but there is no built in story.  So basically, they can do whatever they want and no one (gaming geeks) can really get mad when artistic licence is taken.

So basically, they are just making a movie and sticking a board games name on it.

And Hungry Hungry Hippos 3D would be awesome.  That or Barrel Full of Monkeys.

Remember the movie Mouse Trap?  That movie rocked.

Tanya: I don’t remember the movie Mouse Trap (though the game was great once you got through the painful setup process), but I do remember the movie Jumanji which was pretty awesome.

Chase Crawford? Shia LaBeouf? Ryan Eggold? I think they probably wanted to pick Kellan Lutz for the “Guy from TV” slot but didn’t want to confuse him with the “Guy from Twilight” slot so they threw that other guy in with him. That’s the only reasoning I can think of for that one.

Stacey: Ya, this list is total crap.  Chase Crawford?  Blah.  Although, I do think Dwayne Johnson is hot, but I like old guys.  But People is notorious for being very celebrity friendly, printing planted stories, and as Tanya suggested, having some pay for spots on lists.  Allegedly.

The majority of this list is waaaaay too young for the mini van moms that read it.  Its almost as bad as me crushing on Taylor Lautner.  Except I don’t have kids that could be the age of some guys on this list.  Get some real men on this list like George Clooney or Gerard Butler or Julian McMahon.

I think I smell an ISS Hottest Bachelor list coming???  We also take bribes in the form of dinners, shirtless photos, and long walks on the beach….
