I would like to start off this post by saying three things:

1) I totally love Slash and Perla and am glad that they apparently worked out their differences and decided not to divorce (side note: I had a major brain fart and type Pash and Slerla, which I kind of like)

2) I still think Slash is hot and I don’t care what any of you say

3) Perla’s legs look amazing

Slash and Perla deiced to renew their vows on their 10 year wedding anniversary.  And nothing says classy affair like a mini-skirt wedding dress, giving the middle finger, and a tiny top hat.  I would expect nothing less from these two.

The tiny top hat reminds me of the Ladies Who Lunch skit on SNL where Amy Poehler wears a tiny hat.  But I can’t find the video because SNL are a bunch of assholes and don’t allow their skits to be on the net.  So try and imagine it I guess.

Tanya: This is the same dress she wore for their wedding just with a slight alteration in the skirt. And sorry Stacey, but I think this is beyond trashy. It belongs on WhiteTrashWeddings.com.

Wow. This seems a little fast, no?

According to People Magazine Daniel Craig and Rachel Weisz got married in New York last Wednesday.

This seems a little odd to me because Daniel dated his last GF for years without getting married and Rachel is recently divorced. Makes me think they might have a bun in the oven (pure speculation there).

Stacey: I am not sure I am into this.  Especially considering it is rumored they both left long time partners to be together.  I am with you on the baby theory, Tanya.  That plus he has, like, 5 movies coming out this year.  Breaking up relationships + babies out of wedlock = bad publicity.  However, babies + marriage = good publicity.  I think we have our answer…

Awww.  Poor Hef.  According to TMZ, Hugh Hefner’s much much much younger bride, Crystal Harris, has moved out of the famous Playboy Mansion and their upcoming nuptials have been called off.   What?  You mean, a 28 year old girl with her whole life ahead of her suddenly got freaked out about marrying someone in his 80′s?

Get out!  I am so shocked!

Too bad for Hef.  Maybe he and Holly will get back together now.  He was the one girl of all of the “girlfriends” that there have been that I think truly loved him and wasn’t using him.  But what do I know?

Stacey sent me this pic to post this morning and she didn’t send me anything to write about it so I’ll just say this:

I was talking to a friend about this pic last night and she said “do you think they did that on purpose? They look SO much like the step-sisters”. I don’t think they did it on purpose – do you run through the list of cartoon characters that you could possibly be dressed like before you leave the house in the morning?

The blog might be a little light today, kinda like it’s been all week. Stacey’s computer decided it hates celebrity and essentially refuses to post anything she writes and I’m out in meeting for pretty much the whole day. I’ll try to fit in what I can, but no promises.

Stacey: Yes, its true.  My computer was being a total asshole to me all week.

This picture totally cracked me up.  While a part of me can’t thinks that this can’t possibly have been planned, it also seems too similar to be a coincidence.  Its just too similar.  I would love to know….

Ok.  Can we first address how HOT Harry looked at the wedding.  The hottest royal by far.

But how awesome is it that he had to ride in the carriage with the kids?  So funny.

Tanya: Harry looked great. He’s definitely the hotter Prince. If I was the kids I’d be happy to ride in a carriage with him – he’s probably one of the few fun Royals to hang out with.

Funny story: my dad’s side of the family has no kids on it. My dad had one kid, my two aunts each had two, but most of my cousins are not in the city. And the old people live FOREVER (not complaining, just saying). So when we have family dinners the old people get the main table and the kids table ends up being the youngest people: one of my cousins, me, my husband, and my dad. My dad who is about to be a grandpa still gets stuck at the kids table.

While we haven’t posted much…hell, we haven’t posted anything about the Royal Wedding…I thought we should touch on it since it is pretty much the biggest wedding of our lifetimes.  Prince William and Duchess Catherine (that’s right, her name is officially changed and now much be referred to as Duchess Catherine…they know they could have kept the “K”, right?) were officially married this morning in England.

Did I get up this morning to watch it?  Hellz to the no.  It was airing at 3:00 am this morning in Calgary.  That is too early to be up, even for the “wedding of the century”.

Anyways, of course the one thing everyone…at least me…was interested in was The Dress.  Catherine wore Alexander McQueen and she looked absolutely beautiful.  The dress was classic and simple but so elegant.  And they looked beautiful together.  I know lots of people aren’t into the Royals.  In fact, there was a lot of talk about protesting the wedding because people see the Royals as outdated.  I don’t disagree with that but I hope what wasn’t forgotten in all this is that there were two young people getting married because they are in love.  It wasn’t an arranged marriage, it was actually two people who want to be together…I hope that isn’t lost here and that people don’t try to ruin that for them.

Ok, can we talk about the pictures of some of the guests?  I totally loved the Queen’s awesome yellow outfit with her rockin yellow hat.  Posh and Becks looked amazing.  Posh’s hat totally kicked ass.  Chelsy Davy, Prince Harry’s on again/off again GF looked like…well, you can see for yourself.  I can’t believe THAT is what she decided to wear to the wedding of the century.  But Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie….these two looked like two hot messes.  What the hell is going on with their hats?  Its all bad.  And Catherine’s mom?  How beautiful is she?  At least we know Catherine is going to age well.

My favorite picture so far though is the picture of Will and Catherine kissing on the balcony, a tradition.  I know they are supposed to be all modest and everything but that kiss looks about as exciting as kissing your grandmother.  Catherine could have at least slipped him a little tongue right?

But that is all I have to say about this…as I am sure you are all sick to death, or at least will be very soon, of hearing about the wedding.  Next up, the ever popular question “When will Will and Catherine have kids?” and “Is Katherine already pregnant?”.  Oh joy of joys.

Tanya: I wasn’t that excited to see the dress because, well, it’s a wedding dress and those are a dime a dozen (not literally of course, those things are crazy expensive). But now that I see it I’m totally excited about it!! It’s beautiful!! I want to get married again and wear that same dress.

I love the rest of the pics that you picked Stacey – Chelsy Davy looks like she had to borrow a dress from her cougar aunt and Posh’s hat is positioned in a way that makes me think she woke up with a zit on her forehead.

Did I watch the wedding. No effing way. I was still up working when it was about to start but I know that is all we are going to be bombarded with today so I took the option of sleep instead. Do you know anyone who did stay up to watch it?

So, the two biggest fame whores out there, LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian were bound together this weekend as husband and wife in front of friends and family, exchanging vows to be together for ever and ever.  Ya.  Because vows mean so much to these two.

Anyways, they were photographed in Malibu on Sunday.  And Leann was wearing this.  What is this?  It is offending me on so many levels.  Is it just me or is LeAnn starting to remind anyone of Demi Moore; desperatly seeking attention in all the wrong ways.  No one is ever going to forget that she engaged in an extra marital affair that broke up two marriages if she keeps dressing like a low-rent whore.  Well, I guess if the shoe fits

Tanya: Out of all the things these two do, you’ve picked the dress as the offensive one? The dress is awful. I want to burn it. But everything these two do is awful. The only thing that caught my interest about this wedding is that it was the same as his first one:

Other similarities: LeAnn went to the same plastic surgeon and got the same size breast implants as Brandi, and that they both drive white Range Rovers.

This is funny to me because a week or two ago LeAnn posted a pic on her Twitter that was the same as a pic that Brandi posted on her Twitter:

Ummm, newsflash LeAnn: Eddie left his wife. The woman you’re trying so hard to be like. He obviously got bored of her so why try so hard to fill her shoes?

Awwww! Our favourite celebrity couple has tied the knot!

Katy Perry and Russell Brand got hitched in India yesterday in an intimate traditional Indian wedding ceremony.

Anna Paquin & Stephen Moyer (aka Suhkeh & Bheeeeeel from True Blood) got married yesterday. This is the first marriage for both Anna Paquin & Stephen Moyer, and the couple has 2 kids from Stephen Moyer’s previous relationships.

I’m sure you all know already but just in case you missed it, Alicia Keys and Swizz Beatz were married over the weekend. Keys & Beatz tied the knot at a private residence and the ceremony was officiated by Deepak Chopra. I’m already 2-0with predicting these things and I’d rather not predict that this is going to end in heartbreak when Swizz Beatz, who has a track record for leaving his ladies, is busted with some mistress in the Caribbean. So I’m just going to wish all the best to Alicia Keys & Swizz Beatz. May you both have many, many years of love and fidelity. <3

And as a true showing of his love and adoration of his new wife and soon-to-be baby mama, here are some pics of Swizz Beatz celebrating his marriage with a boys night out yesterday.

Stacey: Oh Alicia.  I really hope this doesn’t blow up in her face but I don’t have confidence in this whole fiasco.  Especially since Swizz has an alleged 3 baby mamas, not including Alicia, with one as recent as 2009 (!!!!).  Plus, Alicia was allegedly the “other woman” in one of his other relationships.  For the most part, relationships born in infidelity, die in infidelity.  Lets hope this isn’t going to be the case here, especially since a baby will be involved.
